Not trying to pre or post sh!+ on MS but I moved to TX over 20 years ago and only hear that word in rap music or when I visit relatives in MS.
I’ve lived in Mississippi virtually all my life. I doubt Ive heard that word a half dozen times in the last 20-30 years. You have some sh*tty relatives. Not trying to pre or post sh!+ on MS but I moved to TX over 20 years ago and only hear that word in rap music or when I visit relatives in MS.

That ought to go over well with the walmart shooting.

Their mayor and board of aldermen have not handled it well either.Everything about that shooting just feels wrong and tragic.
If the folks in the car were really shoplifting and ignoring direct orders from LEOs, all with a toddler in the vehicle, obviously they created the situation for a tragedy.
But if all this racist crap that’s being reported about that police force is true, you just can’t allow that kind of cancer to continue. There’s gotta be accountability.
Yes. Heck it seems like half of Southaven PD lives in Hernando. Their squad cars are scattered at houses across town.in the last text he says “Southaven PD is probably en route”. Does he live in Southaven?
I do see a SPD car on Green River pretty often.Yes. Heck it seems like half of Southaven PD lives in Hernando. Their squad cars are scattered at houses across town.
Lived in DeSoto County and err body I grew up with said it especially their parents. My dad was a California Marine and made sure I knew it was wrong but I slipped up time to time back then something I'm not proud of and struggle a little to understand even to this day.I’ve lived in Mississippi virtually all my life. A little creative reporting. They should be fired
You’re the one that brought it up shìtting on Mississippi. Don’t get mad about it.Lived in DeSoto County and err body I grew up with said it especially their parents. Appreciate the comments about my relatives though.
Naw manOnly thing that’ll get a Mississippi Today reporter fired is an article about a black sheriff in Mississippi doing nefarious stuff.
I kid, I kid.
That correction doesn’t seem to change the takeaway that he may well be a bad choice temperamentally to head a police department.
There is literally nothing good that can come from posting that crap. It's strange what makes news these days.
It’s starting to look like a fake story to discredit the sheriff .I haven’t seen this story in any other media outlets. Am I just missing it?

The first story was released a month ago from MTodayGive it 48 hours, it’s the weekend.
As much as the national media loves fomenting racial division and shatting on Mississippi, it’ll likely be everywhere by Monday.

The story that started it all was July 17I’m talking about the chief using racial slurs. That story’s been out for a month? The date on the OP link is today.
