Thanks so very much for your kindness and understanding as you summed it up perfectly and your exactly right I don’t know who would ever dare be a part of this I’ll def check about him but it’s going to be Neuro Surgery when it comes down to it. I’m still gonna research it trust me and thanks so much for the info. However Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN are Considered the best in the world. Plus they’re willing to pay the rest of what my insurance doesn’t in case. As they studied my spine for weeks and my case of Ankylosing Spondylitis and Muscular dystrophy. Told me they’d never seen anything quite like mine. Considering I was also diagnosed with Marfans Syndrome. I apparently wasn’t spared much. Thank you again and again. I woke up today bleeding out of many of my veins and coughed a lot of blood up that I had to spit out. Very large amounts. So it’s getting worse fast. Thank you and everyone so very much. I’ve got to get this show on the road if I want to live. I go to see a specialist before Mayo this upcoming week. I’ll keep everyone posted. I’m very worried about my fiance in case something happens to me. My grandmother as well. Sorry to complain. I mean it.

Thanks so much. You have no idea how long I went back and forth about whether to even make the post. It’s really not my nature and I usually wouldn’t have if things weren’t so dire.

Apparently I’m dying. First let me explain what if you have the patience. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis in the worst way at only age 38, along with Muscular Dystrophy. Point is I have been doing just as AS says in the most aggressive cases like my mine, Vascular Disease would be what brings me down. I’ve literally been leaking blood like an oil change out of my mid to lower leg’s below the knee. I’ve battled the 17 out of this disease and although I’m only 38 going on 39 I’m sick of having the largest spinal surgery ever done at Vandy. Now I’ve had a full breakdown of that surgery nevermind the one before that. Of course I’ll keep pushing forward and try to live through the next surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Another 14-16 hour minimum full 20 plus level annular fusion from complete breakdown of my spine already. I’m sorry to complain I just got some pretty devastating news today. You guys have no idea how hard I’ve debated putting this on here. Sorry if it bothers you guys. I absolutely had to get it out.

Man, sorry to hear all that. I thought I was bad with degenerated discs, and I'm twice your age, but relatively speaking mine is nothing. Hope the next surgery goes well. Your disease must be quite rare?

That’s still most definitely an aggravating and 17-*** thing to deal with, as that’s what my first spinal surgery way back in 2012 was for—or at least that’s what they thought. My last surgery made any lumbar fusion look like child’s play: 20 levels at once, including going through my throat, which caused me to lose my ability to swallow after I was taken off intubation. They told me at the time that I would never be able to swallow again. Also yes with severe cases it’s pretty dang rare only affecting about 1 in a few thousand roughly. Cases such as mine that are ultra severe reaching end stage by the time my age, 38, are extremely rare. In my case I have Muscular Dystrophy I’m fighting at the same time. Makes things so much harder. Along with other stuff. I don’t know how I won the disease/illness lottery unless it had to do with my mom drinking while I was in the womb.
