Raven was a horrible pick. Considering last year when CC went out they were able to fill her role admirably with Odyssey Sims and a few others. So instead of trying to get a starting guard to replace Lexi or a Power Forward we took a backup pt guard, who even when CC rests can’t get into the game.
IMO the biggest mistake was letting Natasha Howard get away. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the Fever would be contending for the top spot in the standings with Howard in the lineup.

Boston is 11th in the league in rebounds. And doesn’t provide any sort of shot block presence

She’s the highest paid player in the league.

The Fever are trapped with her contract. It’s a roster that needs what Boston isn’t…a consistently dominating presence on the interior. Now she also may not be 100 percent healthy, so maybe that’s impacting her interior play/presence. But they gotta get more of an inside presence on both ends.

She is not the highest paid player.

Howard, Bonner, and Smith didn't play that well here in Indy. Once they moved on, they have all played very well.
Howard’s production for Minnesota is remarkably consistent to last season’s wwork with Fever when adjusted for MPG except for notably better APG.

Howard really emerged during the second half of last season and was a force in the paint. Timpson is stepping up a bit the last couple weeks but it’s hard to replace a crafty vet like Howard.
