Petras behind those offensive lines was like watching Herman Munster and Hodor's love Child , He was either throwing the ball into the 20th row or standing there and taking sacks shell shocked , Totally the wrong QB type behind a young and at the time terrible OL all led by the wonder boy prodigal Son , Total recipe for disaster
He played pretty good in 2020. But he had a good line and good offensive weapons. I don't fault Petras at all for the late 2021 and all of 2022 debacles. That was all OL caused. Hell, even Gronowski would have had trouble doing anything with those OLs.

Agreed. Team didn't suck. Those numbers are, however, horrible. Just curious why people cannot believe their eyes. Our QBs have sucked for way too long. Hope this year is very different.

Yes, we all know that you've insulated yourself by always aligning your opinions with the coaching staff. Therefore you can never be wrong in your mind, because the coaches are 'never wrong'. You take the easy way out, and then lash out at ANY criticism on a message board that is meant specifically to discuss Iowa football. Fans like yourself are much more detrimental to a program than those that are critical. If every fan were like you, we may have never seen Stanzi or Beathard take over as starters.
