Seton Hall had the right person in the school and failed to promote her? Why? Cause she was a woman? She was by far the best candidate.

I wanted her to get that job. She was a great candidate and had served really well as interim president. We definitely should have gone with her. But your retort doesn't really address anything I stated in my post, which you responded to.

But not stearing clear of such a disgrace as the mccarran episode is eye raising at the very least.

Catholicman is so correct about priests today. Sadly, tragically, the institution priests love and work for is the reason why priests have lost their stature in society.

Those in charge would greatly disagree with you. The school feels they made the very best choice and the results to date have proven that true in their eyes.

The freshmen class is the best ever academically and our fundraising, a major issue in the past is finally starting to improve with the monsignor traveling the country to that effect.
