Actually by chance saw a research analyst (he may also be running money) online just mention the nuclear sector (small reactor segment) and how he will re-look in 2 or 3 years. I don’t know of any out there that are super-cheap despite low current revenues.
Just keep in mind OKLO was as high as $175. These nuclear stocks run hot and then have a tendency to crater once reality sets in. But I’m not recommending that you sell.

I sold completely out of two very small positions up a total of $500 after a short one month or so holding period. Don’t really know a lot about the small modular nuclear segment other than it consistently gets almost unanimous bipartisan hype. Seems to be a very “moat”y industry but I’m not really sure what nuclear science grad students are doing in their basements either.

Is this truly a turn for the worse in the Iran war or is Trump creating another buying opportunity for himself, his family and his buddies?
It’s not a turn for the worse. It’s more people realizing all the talk about close to a deal is all BS. Higher oil prices and higher interest rates will be a constant for the 12 months.

I don't think higher interest rates are going to substantially slow down AI infrastructure spending

I do have TEM up 20% on the news. LABU up a bunch too.

PFE, which I don't own, looks pretty of late.

@T2Kplus20, any insight on Revolution Medicine (RVMD)? They just completed late stage clinical trial for late stage pancreatic cancer with a 60% increase in survival time. Trials are ongoing for small cell cancers and late stage lung cancer. They don't have the production capacity to produce the medication in a large scale, making them an ideal takeover candidate.

I'm ready! Gold and silver to the moon.
Good thing I sold GDX and B last week when it looked like Gold was running out of steam.

also sold FWDI, COIN, HOOD once clarity act stalled out and stocks started declining…now this treasury dept move comes out of nowhere

Been a really frustrating month…about the only thing I’ve done right this month is started buying Biotech

Buyout rumors since the beginning of the year. From Abbvie to Merck and others. I know a bunch of people who work there and it’s a good company. in January I was going to buy at about $80. Once the buyout rumors started the stock shot up. It’s over $200 now. I missed the profits.

Great company, possibly revolutionary tech (pun intended) but the prelim data was released and the stock already exploded. $46B market cap is pretty steep. A typical price to sales for smaller pharma/biotech is around 6'ish.....so that assumes a future sales of $8B or so.

You can definitely make money on the stock and RVMD can become the next Vertex ($140B market cap), but investors should be prepared for some consolidation. Not saying a big price decline, but rather an extended period of flatlining as sales catch up.

As mentioned by RU206 - possible buyout candidate for a large pharma.

T2K - you have any biotech recommendations?
