you're going to need to explain this one to me

His CEO skills are pretty good. He’s a good public speaker and, generally speaking, does an above average job managing locker room chemistry and off court stuff. Both behavior related and personnel matters.

Now I’m certain you could come up with a few examples to challenge this position, but remember, there are a lot of years of data going into this assessment. Usually when he doesn’t see eye to eye with someone on his staff, he doesn’t let it linger long (think Gleeson). Whether that was the right decision or not is not the point I’m making (I’m not in the mood to debate that one again and it’s not relevant). Greg historically has not tolerated locker room cancer situations - if it’s a clash between him and someone else that person is usually sent packing pretty quickly. He can’t fire everyone.

We used a different QB on each of the first three offensive plays of the game.
This will be a tight game eventhough IMHO we have a more talented team. The combination of the emotional "red bandana" game, the anniversary of 9-11 and the fact that we'll probably play down to their level this will be a one score game in the 4th quarter.
To alumni yes, the student body no. All most of them will care about is the next beer.

If Rutgers is in a one score game in the 4th with the worst P4 team in the country then Greg and staff have much bigger issues.

We will see BC’s talent level when they play at Cincinnati the week before us. Think you are wrong on this one. See us up 2 scores late in the 4th Qtr.

round table thread on this is littered with excuses and stretches to justify it. sad and pathetic imho, zero justification for it and I'm tired of hearing 'other programs do it's because it's not all equal. Just drover through Indian and Ohio and all I heard on the radio were camp reports on local talk radio. The number of schools that restrict the way we do is not a lot, not even close. I did a quick internet search and we're the outlier.

If what Richie said is true about Keli being impressed by Greg's accomplishments with what resources he had, she's the wrong person for the job.

Greg is the master of keeping games close when we outmatch them. It’s a hallmark

And that killed interest may play into why this "FOOTBALL" board is littered with crap posts 17 days from the opening game. No buzz. No excitement, except on multiple Off Topic Threads.

This is the only active football thread with multiple replies. Threads started by Richie and Alec fall to bottom with no replies. I posted an interesting topic on Logan Ryan (yeah, he's old), and it go zero replies. Richie's thread on Scrimmage No. 1 Recap got one reply.

I see it has had several replies on the Round Table. No discussion of BTN football camps.

We have:
Hurricanes, Dead people, 2027 Super Bowl, Serial Killers, Stocks, Vacations, , etc.
this is an outstanding post

I think Richie and Co do a great job with what they have and their job isn't easy managing these boards, competing business/sub needs and the like.

@Richie O my son and I were listening to the podcast last night and my younger son burst out laughing at the 'kick him please' lolol good one.

This is so funny that there are now two threads complaining about the same exact thing.. Driven by the same people hahahaha
No, they are two separate things. Maybe take a closer look without any bias.

This thread is about Greg's Cone of Silence over anything in the program and how it actually hurts, rather than helps fan interest.

The other thread is about the merits of his W-L record and the merits of his wins. They are mutually exclusive topics with a little bit of overlap.

As many know and have said, winning cures all ills. We have no winning on a scale that generates excitement for the fanbase. We have the opposite. And for those looking for something else, perhaps and insiders taste of what is cooking inside the program, they get breadcrumbs.

Some of y'all are quite happy with the state of the program. Good for you. Some want better.

Nah the same guys saying the same stuff in each thread. This one devolved into that and they've blended together haha. Winning cures all, I'm not happy. I think guys like Brecht and Greg need to be held to higher standards.

Some dudes on here are just trolls and have to state their point over and over again for whatever reason. Sucks the energy out of here.

Agreed. And for an extra bonus they ruin other threads with their political bs.

Quit the site? You are quoting my posts lol.

Yes, you quit (because of your feelings) and came then back because you need the attention. Speaking of, thats all the attention you will get from me today :)

I’m confused where you guys expect to get this 4th win from. Besides UMass and Howard we will not be favored in any other game besides maybe MSU if they are also 2-9 going into that game. @ BC? We beat them by 1 point last time at their place on a miracle 10 minute drive by johnny football, and they beat us at home. @ Maryland, @ NW in their new stadium? Schiano doesnt have it in him. 3 wins is the max if we beat Maryland or BC on the road, or maybe MSU if we have the heart for it.

0 chance we beat Wisconsin in Camp Randall no matter how good they are. Schiano cant do it. Same for Nebraska, they are his new West Virginia. He cannot beat blue blood programs. 0-fer against Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, USC. He will never beat any of those teams, not mentally there when you fair catch every kick and don’t throw 1 screen pass or do a single end around or drag route all season. And we are running the 4-2-5 defense again this year so with 2 linebackers stuck in the middle get ready for us to get torched on the outside every single game again. Does Schiano get to stay if we go 3-9 with no wins between Howard and MSU Thanksgiving which is about all the games we’ll be favored in?
BC is really bad- much worse than us. Maryland- really bad, much worse than us MSU really bad, much worse than us.
