Clark, Mitchell and Boston took 52 of our 74 shots. Which is as it should be. On a good night Sophie might hit double figures but tonight Harris was at least our 4th scorer. 5-5 from the field. Every once in awhile Billings might get 10 pts as well. We need Mitchell to take 20 shots or close to it every game. If she hits her 50% and 44% from 3 she’s going to get 25-27 pts. CC and her have a great thing going in the 4th qtr. CC carried the team with her scoring tonight but she loves to facilitate in the 4th qtr. And it works.

I have watched enough of Paige and she is the poor man's Caitlin Clark. She doesn't play near as good as defense as they try to say she does. No difference between her and Clark on defense. Offensively she's a step below.
It would be nice to see the rest of the team outside of Clark get more than 4 total assists though.
They’ve been averaging 21. So others have been. Tonight was not that night.

Caitlin has been shooting the midrange FT jumper a lot more the last handful of games like she's taken the criticism personally.

Possession ends in a foul but it's encouraging to see the Fever have the ability to rotate and recover.
If they play with this defensive effort they can hang in games even when their offense is stuck in neutral like it was for most of the first half.
It's as simple as recognizing when the dribble gets picked up, read the pivot foot and anticipate the turnaround rather than biting at the first step/ball fake.
It's literally all she is going to. But it's not just Paige that our defense was struggling with denying the pivot step and giving up defensive positioning.
