Okay, I know where you're coming from. But consider things from an advertising standpoint. Leaving off playoffs and The Ncaa tournament, The 2 football teams play 12 games a season. The Cats play 32. Blue Blood Kentucky is one of the most nationally televised teams in basketball. If I'm buying add space on a uniform, I want the Dale Earnhardt of basketball.

You don't seem to understand how the economics of college sports work. Ohio State and Notre Dame are bigger and more valuable brands than Kentucky. If they got $17-18 mil on their deals, common sense dictates UK will not be getting $25 mil.

Now, would I like to be wrong, have J Batt pull some magic wheelin' dealin' rootin' tootin' Ric Flair sonofagun deal for UK to get that much?

So patch, brand, and sell every naming right there is. There must be a line somewhere for this absurdity that this will hopefully accelerate. Then again, we are well over what I thought was the line.

Yep its all going down the drain. Faster the better imo. Actual college sports we all loved has been dead at least a few years. Anything that hastens the death of this current abomination is something I fully support.

I may have pulled that 25 mil out of my butt, but I do believe UK's 32 games vs their 12 warrants a comparable price. That's some pretty valuable exposure.

What I would LOVE to see is UK taking money from sponsors NOT TO HAVE patches on their jerseys and acknowledging the sponsors every game, having patches or printing on the UK warm ups and towels instead, on the walls at the practice facility, and at every press conference.

not sure why you’re saying 20 more games when I just asked you if you’re sure they are not on the basketball jerseys as well. In addition average viewership for OSU bball games was between 1.1 million and 1.7 million for big games. So in basketball kentuckys biggest basketball viewership had 700,000 more viewers than ohio state basketballs biggest game but in football Ohio states biggest game had 13 MILLION more viewers thank Kentucky footballs (7 million against Georgia last year) and 18 MILLION more than Kentucky basketballs. It’s not in anywhere the same stratosphere.
