For her using her phone? There is no automatic suspension for doing so. Like the NBA, the WNBA "prohibits" players/staff from being on their phone during certain times leading up to and after games, but I can't remember either league ever suspending someone for doing so, and a LOT of them do it.

Now I DO think they missed greatly in not suspending DC for the foul on Sophie...not for that one play, as that is going to happen at times, but for her history of such plays. If CC can get suspended a game for an 8th tech where no one has been physically threatened (one soft ref not-withstanding), there should also be a suspension schedule (both single season and career) for flagrant 2s where players' safety has truly been compromised.

I will have to review the 2026 CBA and rulebook to see what the exact parameters are for cellphone usage and what penalties they are allowed to hand out. If it is against the rules (which I am not sure it is) I can't see it being suspension worthy unless it was someone trying relay info to the bench or something that would gain them competitive advantage.

she whined all through college and all throughout the pros. she did and does. maybe not on the one play that got her the T. but she does whine and act bratty. I don't think anyone would dispute that. sometimes she has a right to do it . but she does do it and it's not a good look. on TV especially. and sometimes she stands there complaining while the play is going on at the other end of the court. she looks bratty.

agreed 100%. sophie got there- as did most of the WNBA- because of Clark. 100% agreed. but now sophie is on the rise, CC looks to be on the decline as far as "starpower" outside of Bball. I am talking off the court star. not bball ability. CC is better at bball than sophie, yes.

and I am talking long term with movies and such. ten years from now nobody will care about clark unfortunaely. but sophie, the sky is the limit. as far as movies and TV and so on. I could see clark maybe coaching or something. book sales be danged. I am talking movies.

Forget about the fact that she posted, how about a suspension for what she posted? Calling either the officials racist or the Indiana Fever is far worse than what Sandy B. said. And the rule is about keeping players from saying things prior the media obligations being completed.
