Counting animals. I did really bad on aptitude test for skilled human work so I got to count squirrel on campus for year. Think I count 1100 of them. Mostly wandering around drunk.

I got to teach for ten years at a community/tech college. It was awesome. My field was a great mix of young peeps outta high school and grown ace people coming in to learn skillz and better themselves.
It was a perfect mix and fun to be in the middle of…
We all had fun and most of those cats left in a better position per life and careers.
It was a very positive place for me.
As I often say, it was the best job I ever had.
there was this one job where i got to sit on some calls send some emails while mostly scrolling through a kickass website called hrot. 
I had a lot of fun unloading trucks and stocking shelves on the midnight shift at the grocery store.
I had to do night stock one summer at a grocery store. Hated it. Only worse job I had was working the grill at mc Donald’s in high school. Worst part of that was emptying the grease traps at the end of the night in the grease dumpster on a hot July night. Oh gawd the smell.

Some people just have to be led along to the very end, they just don't "get it". Im sure has lots of best buddies are the current great job tho. Seems like a blast to be with.
Dude we had strippers at fun night for a couple leagues. Smashing 2 irons off the carpet of the bar out the back door towards the practice green.
One year the whole employee party before the college kids went back ended up at my house when I was in high school and my parents were out of town. We were smashing stolen beers with our golf pro boss when he rolled in hammered and he loved it A dude from one of those leagues who was my parents neighbor showed up and people ended up at his house jumping off his roof into his pool. Later in life that guy ended up being a core member of our dynasty team of bar outing best shot crew after his 3rd divorce lol. I got in so much trouble that weekend but that was the most badass party I ever had in high school.
Sounds like a blast for you but damn the pro sounds like a pathetic loser to be hanging out with high schoolers like that…
Camp counselor when i was in high school. Spent the summer scalloping, fishing, spearfishing, sailing, floundering at night. And more. On an island paradise.

Oh it wasn't a regular thing, it was basically the employee appreciation weekend. We made it into a team golf tournament and some other fun stuff. College kids and second job adults made up almost the entire food and beverage side and some of the golf side as well. Only a couple of us that were the early spring and late fall skeleton crew were high school aged. A lot of bar regulars from the golf course that partied with the college kids also ended up tagging along.

On the other hand, no one really supervising you, listening to the music of your choice, and blocking shelves is a dream come true for a future attorney with his share of anal retentiveness.
a law school buddy spent a summer at the usga in NJ shagging balls for Iron Byron during his equipment tests.
The one I have now. Work M,T,W every week, maybe a Thursday every now and again.

I only had one bad job. The others were very rewarding both financially and professionally. The only problem was the long hours. I never took off more than 1 consecutive week and even then I was always in contact with the office. To this day I miss my work and take a lot of pride in what I accomplished during my career. I retired early but would have stayed longer if I could do it 30 hrs/wk instead of 55-60 hrs/wk.
Honestly that doesn't sound great to me. When I was a caddy, I had to shag balls sometimes, and I was always worried that I would get whacked in the face. (never did)
Good for you. I started in golf as an 8 yr old caddy and eventually worked in the pro shop and at a driving range. In Northern Ohio, owning a driving range in a good spot (I never did but saw someone pass up the opportunity) is the best job in the world. All you have to do is provide clean, decent golf balls and decent mats and everyone is happy and you can make good money. Work 8.5 months a year and head South for the winter.
if I put on here all the great jobs I had in my 40 year career, all I would get is a ration of crap...not worth it to me.
There were no "great jobs" pre career....I worked summers to pay for college, whatever you could find that paid the most....after graduation was either to be drafted or join. So, I joined because I could get a better deal..ended up staying for 20 years
