Just him. Snuck out on a meal cart, leaving staff and journalists without telling them, so they would die in an attack instead. What a pants pooping coward.
Alpha male!!!!!!That is some serious leadership right there.
An exclusive story tonight by Dan Lamothe, John Hudson, Andrew Ba Tran, and Joyce Sohyun Lee in the Washington Post revealed the utter cowardice behind Trump’s authoritarian aspirations. Leaving Türkiye on July 8 after the NATO summit, the day after he had renewed strikes on Iran, Trump made a show of switching from the newly outfitted plane given to the U.S. by Qatar to an older plane that had served as Air Force One before Trump got the Qatari jet. The journalists who were traveling with the president and some of the White House staff moved with the president to the older plane for the leg of the trip that would take them to Britain. But the journalists report that Trump and some of his aides secretly left the older plane in a container lowered into an airport catering truck and were transferred to a smaller plane for the trip. There had apparently been credible Iranian threats against Trump’s life, and so officials turned to a plan to hide him, even from senior U.S. officials. To do so, they left the journalists and staff on the plane that would use the Air Force One call sign, turning them into a decoy for an Iranian strike. White House staffers instructed journalists to lower their shades when they entered the plane. Trump secretly reboarded the bigger plane in Britain and was filmed coming down its stairs, suggesting he had been on the flight. Then he boarded the Qatari jet, along with the press pool and the staffers who had been on Air Force One, for the trip from Türkiye. On the flight, Trump briefly spoke to reporters, who asked why they had been asked to lower their window shades on the previous flight. It was “because you’re probably on a dangerous flight because of the sleaze bags that we have to deal with,” Trump said. He added that there are threats against his life “all the time” and that “I’m number one on their list, before you. But if I go, you go. Right?” “Perhaps someday you want to change professions.” Bluesky national security commenter Angry Staffer wrote: “So, I completely understand secreting POTUS away from a credible assassination attempt. But leaving the entire Air Force One crew, press pool, etc. to play decoy is some sick sh*t.” — Notes:

His T couldn't be any lower. Obama never hid in a catering truck. Biden never hid in a catering truck.Alpha male!!!!!!
Certainly not the staffers and journalists who were left to fly on AF1 with the supposedly credible threat to them. I wonder who Dementia Donald left on the plane? Marco? Melania wasn't on the trip, but I assume she would have been left on AF1. Natalie Harp or Karoline Leavitt? They'd gladly die for Trump. It’s almost like he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.

Speaking of trying too hard...Two birds with one stone?
Seriously though...trying a little too hard on this one. I'm sure these are not calls he's making.
In an easy way, then, explain how one takes a $400M bribe jet without all bells and whistles to a neighbor of Iran. And with the goal of just showing it off and larping as some kind of big deal. Two birds with one stone?
Seriously though...trying a little too hard on this one. I'm sure these are not calls he's making.
I mean: it also makes the president look grossly incompetent.Neither awesome nor in-awesome. These sorts of calls are security related, and made by people with something of a paranoid streak whose job 1 is protecting the president.
Narrative? This is neither a story of "great intelligence work pulls one over on the iranians" nor "gross incompetence suggested by president hiding in beverage cart". it's neither here nor there, but either way, probably not worthy of the lead story at the top of the hour radio broadcasts on my drive in to DC this morning. I'd have probably saved that for the 'man on the street' interviews with the 80 year olds who've been banging pots and pans every night at 7 to protest "occupy DC". (Seriously, that's a thing, and was also covered. 80 year olds. With pots and pans. For a year.)I mean: it also makes the president look grossly incompetent.
But keep your narrative as it keeps you warm at night.
You truly are living in a very special bubble.Narrative? That’s a lot of words to avoid saying he used staffers and journalists as bait. He’s the alpha decider, don’t you know.Narrative? Please hide me in a catering cart is exactly the call I would expect Trump to make. Two birds with one stone?

The threat was so credible that they were willing to let an entire plane full of Americans get blown up?Neither awesome nor in-awesome. These sorts of calls are security related, and made by people with something of a paranoid streak whose job 1 is protecting the president.
I have two jobs. One for regular expenses. One for gas expenses.Lefttards are at their finest in this thread. Unbelievable.
I'm loving every moment that Trump is in office.
BTW - do any of you lefttards have jobs or are you all on snap benefits?
Except when they’re helping Trump stand up straight for a photo op in the middle of an “assassination attempt.”Neither awesome nor in-awesome. These sorts of calls are security related, and made by people with something of a paranoid streak whose job 1 is protecting the president.
I have a real job, and I'm here part time owning the mouth breathers.Lefttards are at their finest in this thread. Unbelievable.

Yep... What they REALLY want is to get Trump face to face. THEN Iran offers him say half a billion a year under the table to let them administer the Straites. He'd take that in a heartbeat and then declare victory and pull all US forces out of the Middle East.Iran is not going to assassinate Trump. He’s their greatest ally at the moment.
