Race baiting should be an automatic permanent ban on this board. And you have a long history of it.We get it. You hate the black AD
That dude is not leaving GT for us. For one, they still have much more money even with our TV stuff, and two, he’s a GT alumnus.1. ********.
2. Having a QB like Kamario Taylor gives Lebby the opportunity to be the next Gene Chizik- Good qb, wins games possibly with a nc. Suck the next year and get canned afterwards.
3. If MSU finds itself HC shopping, the coach at GT is the ONLY answer.
Yeah it’s pretty 17ing played out and beyond stupid. I’ve lined out exactly why I didn’t want Selmon many times. Not surprising considering what’s going on in this country.Race baiting should be an automatic permanent ban on this board. And you have a long history of it.
It’s sad that he’s the only hot commodity these days. Remember back in the day it was like a damn treasure chest? That dude is not leaving GT for us. For one, they still have much more money even with our TV stuff, and two, he’s a GT alumnus.
Well it ain’t like MSU got the hot commodities anyway. We need to be strategic and we are the furthest thing from that right now. It’s sad that he’s the only hot commodity these days. Remember back in the day it was like a damn treasure chest?
We need to hope Lebby has a 6+ win season. Because.... no sarcastericks.... our next coach could be Beamer Jr.That dude is not leaving GT for us. For one, they still have much more money even with our TV stuff, and two, he’s a GT alumnus.
It would be a step up. A fairly small step.We need to hope Lebby has a 6+ win season. Because.... no sarcastericks.... our next coach could be Beamer Jr.
assuming usc is trash
I was mostly referring to the "Salmunz" part, but don't stop on my account.ED oozes more eh,
Stupid *** m17ers
I don't always agree but 100% on this bring Jared home!Benko, who we should have hired from the beginning. But there’s a lot of better ADs than Sappy Salmun.
We get it, you listen to Peaches. Just own your cringiness and admit you’re a doucheI was mostly referring to the "Salmunz" part, but don't stop on my account.
Mississippi State - the most toxic fanbase in Merica.
Thanks Keenum for hiring this clown of an AD.
What’s worse is that a significant portion of our fanbase gets their info from ED. @Bulldawg77 We
That’s what I was thinking . The lack of self awareness is incredible with this guy or he’s the best troll there’s ever been if it’s the latter . Hats off ( seriously) but I suspect it’s notThis post just oozes intelligence.
GT sold a home game against UGA to help with money. They aren’t flush with cash like you want to thinkThat dude is not leaving GT for us. For one, they still have much more money even with our TV stuff, and two, he’s a GT alumnus.
Apparently you don't get it. I can't stand him. But you're on his level. We get it, you listen to Peaches. Just own your cringiness and admit you’re a douche
Goat is Goat, but even I can't abide with anybody else being placed on the pedastal of absolute suckage that Coach34 occupies.Apparently you don't get it. I can't stand him. But you're on his level.
Because they believe in what Lebby is trying to build here. They see the increase in financial commitment to staff and NIL. While our fans find new and innovative ways to shite on our program. The outside perception in coaching profession is a lot different than our own fans. Now ultimately results on the field must come. Here's my thing with this supposed ultimatum, why would all these proven coaches on staff now, come in for one season? Just doesn't make sense to me when they could get better jobs than this
Fair enough.Goat is Goat, but even I can't abide with anybody else being placed on the pedastal of absolute suckage that Coach34 occupies.
He is and remains the undisputed, undefeated champion of awful.
Outside perception is you can't win here. We couldn't even get coaches to interview when we hired Lebby. Unless we're willing to pay very big money for a coach AND staff, we'll just go hire the next Billy Napier from the G level. We won't hire another coordinator though. Let's hope Lebby wins this year so we don't have to look at that reality.Because they believe in what Lebby is trying to build here. They see the increase in financial commitment to staff and NIL. The main reasons for the coaching pool was part lack of NIl adaptations, especially from fan base, and a lot of coaches knew the lack of talent that was on campus. We have also increased our coaching staff salaries to be competitive with our rivals. We have closed the gap on talent thanks to NIL commitment by some fans.Outside perception is you can't win here. We’re never going to get the most popular candidates. Duh. But we had better options than Lenny, our AD (and most of our fans) just don’t understand how to find them.Outside perception is you can't win here. You would take Pete F'ing Golding right now, before he's coached a game with his own team?Since we enjoy nepotism at MSU, I believe Lebby will get a raise and extension for winning 4 games. Nevermind that attendance is going to be the worst most of us have seen in our lifetimes. Last year did it for me as far as our coaches are concerned. I respect if others feel differently.
I’d take Herman, Frost, Zach Arnett, Pete Golding etc… anyone vs what we have now. I can’t imagine I’m alone. Keep in mind we kept Hutzler after 2024.
Pete Golding gets a job at ONE place….that’s Ole Miss. And that is because they did what you’re supposed to do when you have it rolling - promote from within. If it doesn’t work, it’s easy to move on. If it does, you’re golden. And it’s always most likely that you’ll have the best immediate outcome if you don’t change everything immediately after a coach leaves - he was successful for a reason. You would take Pete F'ing Golding right now, before he's coached a game with his own team?
And before you say it, Trinny was the coach for the playoff game last year, and he will carry them as far as he can this year. They will lose a couple of games they're not "supposed" to because of dumb decisions by Golding, then when Trinny and Lacy are gone next year... look out. And I can't f'ing wait, if only to shut all the asskissers up about them.
My main point was that there is a group of olemiss fellators on this here board and I can't stand it. Anything they do is awesome and perfect, and meanwhile we should kill off our mens sports - especially baseball - because we suck at life.Pete Golding gets a job at ONE place….that’s Ole Miss. Golding may be good, he may not. But you’ve got to make that move. Just like we should have hired Grantham or Gonzales after Mullen left. Again, if it doesn’t work, oh well, but I bet we’d have done better than 8-4 in 2018 had we made that move. Or at minimum, ANYBODY who wouldn’t change what had been working. I still don’t understand what Cohen was thinking there.
Weirdly enough, we did it in 2023, but since we didn’t have a strong AD in place who would make us keep the Air Raid for at least one year, it failed. Only MSU could have made that choice. All Arnett had to do was keep the Air RAID folks in place for one more year, and he likely goes 6-6 or 7-5 at worst. He’d then get another year and he could have made whatever moves he wanted at that time and nobody would have blamed him. We’d have probably even given him latitude to have a rebuilding season if needed in 2024, considering the seniors that left.
