That will probably be the one time in my life that I stop there. I don’t get the hype. Way too much chaos for me. Had a brisket sandwich. Meh.
I'm with you on the brisket sandwich, didn't like it. Average at best. That will probably be the one time in my life that I stop there. I don’t get the hype. Way too much chaos for me. Had a brisket sandwich. Meh.
That vacation stay at the historic Maverik seems a little mundane now, I'm sure...I may have to switch my vacation plans after seeing this review.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand the Iowan desire to put a gas station on a pedestal
Fully loaded Michelin Star oatmeal is more my speed
I never once saw a Wawa gas station growing up in PA. I lived 2 miles away from STORE #1 in Folsom. Wawa didn't add gas until they expanded to Florida because they knew they needed it to compete with Circle K and 7/11. Wawa was always a Deli. And they were the after bar staple. Nothing like getting a shortie roast beef hoagie and a chili dog to wash down the 20 beers. It's kind of crazy to think most of my late teens and early 20s was spent watching a lady slice meat for my sandwiches at 3am.
Stop it lolCasey’s is better
Both are customers of mine for IRL job. Both are good (considering they're gas stations) but QT does prove that their kitchen is pretty much equal to the hot food from buc-ees despite the presentation (normies appreciate the marketing/gimmick though). I don’t understand the hype behind the shopping side, it's all cheap **** with weird branding. Boomers can't get enough of it though.SC runs on QT!!
Buc-ees is straight garbage
Wawa doesn't compete with 7/11 and Circle K in Florida, they compete with RaceTrac and Cumbedland Farms (now EG). It's a better value than those stupid beavers. That will probably be the one time in my life that I stop there. I don’t get the hype. Way too much chaos for me. Had a brisket sandwich. Meh.
I like the cheesesteak bowl.
So basically its WalMart? It's the poster child for modern day Southern gluttony. You may as well call it Diabetes R Us. How many middle aged men were still in Jammy Pants?

It is a good thing to look forward to with kids when you are on an all day drive.

I feel like I need some more insight into your opinion. How did the beaver hurt you? Did you accidentally spend >$500 there or something? It's been known to happen.

It's an unimpressive, chaotic s.hithole.
Do you have a suggestion for a better place to stop for gas, toilet, eat, grab snacks and look at random **** for 45 minutes while on a 12 hour drive with four kids? I'd honestly love to hear it. When I'm in the boonies I'll gravitate towards more locally unique places, like this:It's an unimpressive, chaotic s.hithole.
They do have a brisket burrito that also has refried beans and cheese w the brisket that I think is a lot better than the sandwich.I'm with you on the brisket sandwich, didn't like it. Average at best.

but in unfamiliar and highly developed areas, I go for predictable, one stop places, Bucc-ee's works for us.

OPs moms stall is a popular one.I tried popping my Cherry twice at Buc-ee’s. But both times the line of traffic going in as if this was Disney World or a Football game was too much for me to handle and I bailed.
