I may have to switch my vacation plans after seeing this review.
That vacation stay at the historic Maverik seems a little mundane now, I'm sure...

The go-to move at Buc-ee’s is to eat a brisket sandwich off the bathroom floor.

Then you understand what makes them so great.

It's the poster child for modern day Southern gluttony. You may as well call it Diabetes R Us. How many middle aged men were still in Jammy Pants?

I don’t think I’ll ever understand the Iowan desire to put a gas station on a pedestal

@Yellowsnow51

This fly over state bumpkin ain't never had a WaWa hoagie, amirite?
I never once saw a Wawa gas station growing up in PA. I lived 2 miles away from STORE #1 in Folsom. Wawa didn't add gas until they expanded to Florida because they knew they needed it to compete with Circle K and 7/11. Wawa was always a Deli. And they were the after bar staple. Nothing like getting a shortie roast beef hoagie and a chili dog to wash down the 20 beers. It's kind of crazy to think most of my late teens and early 20s was spent watching a lady slice meat for my sandwiches at 3am.

I tried popping my Cherry twice at Buc-ee’s. But both times the line of traffic going in as if this was Disney World or a Football game was too much for me to handle and I bailed.

Casey’s is better
Stop it lol
SC runs on QT!!
Buc-ees is straight garbage
Both are customers of mine for IRL job. Both are good (considering they're gas stations) but QT does prove that their kitchen is pretty much equal to the hot food from buc-ees despite the presentation (normies appreciate the marketing/gimmick though). I don’t understand the hype behind the shopping side, it's all cheap **** with weird branding. Boomers can't get enough of it though.

Buc-ee's legitimately separates itself on their jerky though. If you are a high T male this is undoubtedly the best part of the store ;). Many options, all very good. This is the one spot (other than bathrooms and size) that sets them apart.

Wawa doesn't compete with 7/11 and Circle K in Florida, they compete with RaceTrac and Cumbedland Farms (now EG). Real gas stations with "kitchens" lol

The beaver nuggets and their different flavored popcorn are legit. I also dig their warm candied cashews. Delicious. With that said, I drove right by one yesterday and didn’t stop for any of those tasty little morsels due to the chaos one must endure there. No thanks.
