Mullen ain’t coming back. He ran outta here so fast he left cleat marks up Fitzgerald’s back. I appreciate what he did here but 17 him. I hope he never gets another P4 offer.

Like I said. Hurt feelings and all!

just like North Carolina fans were hurt when Mack Brown left for Texas. And then they welcomed him back!

Arnett was in the middle of destroying our program, but a lot of fans here are slobbering all over his ****!

I don't blame Mullen. I'd want my agent to be aggressive as hell looking out for me a payraise. Nature of the business.

He made ~$40MM from his Florida gig. How is that a mistake?
He will make $43.5 million off Florida - $25.5 from salary, $12 million buyout, and $1 million per year (ending next year).

Oddly enough, if we'd only paid him his 2017 salary of $4.5 million per year, he'd have made $45 million at MSU. Obviously he would have gotten several raises from us, especially if he'd accomplished what he did at Florida while at MSU.

He'd be absolutely entrenched as the winningest Head Coach in MSU history, would probably not have screwed up 2018 and 2019, had better results than Leach (and I liked Leach), and would never have gotten us into the shitshow we see now. Not only that, he'd have his name on the stadium when he did decide to hang it up.

Instead, he went somewhere that paid him more, with a fanbase that's psychotic and ran him off after four seasons.

I get that he was leaving MSU regardless. That dumbass was going to take the Tennessee job before Florida stepped in. I'm just saying that the final result of what went down at Florida was obvious to anyone with half a brain. That program and fanbase are absolutely toxic.

These paragraphs are filled with hypothetical.

Truth is that shows a lack of class. May be true but he should let it go and move on. His mind isn’t where it should be this time of year, he should be focused on UNLV football and not the past.
He was 34-15 when fired, and it took him 15 seconds to say that, UNLVs season won't suffer from that 15 second jab he sent to Stricklin.

It’s petty and shows that he is still unhappy about being let go. In my opinion it’s no different as to what he did towards the end of the season at State trying to find that better gig and not being happy with what he has in front of him.

That's my bad, I missed the 'blue blood' part. I just always enjoy the pigs being just as - if not more - incompetent as we are at hiring, with seemingly more money at their disposal.
They had/have more money than us. Then not winning a natty in FB just goes to show even though we had Lonnie tinkle as our guy; we tend to overachieve in this conference from time to time in football.

Hopefully Lebby can right the ship, but…if Mullen were to come back the tickets would sell immediately, the stadium would be packed, and the money would start flowing.
