My PTSD (post traumatic Sleepy disorder) flares up with EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF HYPE about KT.
I have no idea what this sentence even means. But I’m guessing it’s good?
I took it as he checks the boxes physically. But I don’t speak dumb.
He definitely does that. I like his character & leadership as well. Only question is his decision making & accuracy passing.
Y choice is the male chromosome and traitsiest means he hit the genetic jackpot. At least that’s what I’m sticking with.
I'm sure every generation experiences this but our language keeps getting dumber.
KT's arm talent at this age, there's no1 to compare it to. It's the best I've ever seen.
I think the OL is good enough, keep him healthy & he's about to become a household name.
It's ok to be excited without placing any expectations. Just enjoy watching him because God don't make em like this everyday.

K1 can become either our next version of Dak or our next version of his Uncle Omar - it is all the the coaching staff & the talent surrounding him on both sides of the ball. Mullen got more out of Dak than anyone thought possible prior to 2014 while Croom & crew (with as assist from the end of JWS) got almost nothing out of Omar. Omar is one of the top 5 (What IFs) in MSU sports history while Dak became. Omar may have more maroon blood than any of us since he let his nephew come to MSU after MSU did not develop him.
There's arm strength, and, there's throwing accuracy. From KT we've seen one, the other remains to be seen.
Will Rogers had one, he didn't have the other.
We should know after 5 weeks where KT stands at this point in his career
I expect we’ll see some real ups & downs from KT both in decision making & passing accuracy this year. These aren’t usually things a QB learns in 1 year. And some really talented QBs never learn
To add to this:
There remain two questions in my mind, both of which deal with gray matter. Is there enough between the ears of the QB to slow the game down to a manageable cadence and allow his raw talent to reach its full potential? And is there enough gray matter now around the head coach to make up the difference in his obvious lack?
The msu fan in me says hype=bad season incoming outside of 2014. We had bowl game in 2013 that helped. Bowl game last year was crap. Understanding different receivers and line. But we will see if it's better. Defense hopefully. But we need pass rush
The real MSU fan knows that he will have a good season, lead us to a decent bowl game and then bolt for big money, ripping out our hearts on the way out the door.
I saw the title and was hoping Kelvin had a wide receiver son or nephew we were recruiting.
If he has a good season & leads us to a decent bowl, that’s a huge win for us. We have to get past this mentality of thinking that’s a bad thing. I’d much rather have winners who leave for a better gig than losers who stay forever.

I honestly have never heard of Hendon Hooker. I’ll go ahead and google him myself, but I’m just astonished that I’ve never heard that name.

I agree, but it is a bad look if every time someone has a good year, they leave when they have the chance. Plus, it's hard to build a consistent winning program if that keeps happening.
From reading past articles - I have a glimmer of hope that Kamario is a true maroon and will finish his career here.
It’s a worse look if your players aren’t having good years. I’d rather Taylor make an all SEC team & take my chances than have a mediocre season. And if he does leave we go get another good QB.
If Texas or Ohio St. really want him, I don’t know how you say no to that kind of money. But I don’t think he’ll leave to go to an Auburn or Tennessee. I just hope he’s good enough we’re even having these conversations come December or next December.
We might just pay him because we have to. It would be at a detriment to the team but you can't lose your bell cow. I've heard through the grapevine that as long as he is treated fairly - he will remain. What is fair is undisclosed though.
I had forgotten that but you're right. I just always remember how clutch that MF'er was.
