Worse year Senga or Jorge?

Senga has looked OK for limited innings. Polonco I am waiting on anything good to happen.

the best of the group is a bad fielder will get 80 rbi with no power or speed and is $42 Mil per year.

Senga has an 0-8 record and an ERA at 8.66.
Teams will be lining up for his services.

You are right of course. But if the Mets DFA'd Senga today, somebody would sign him tomorrow (on the Mets' dime of course). Whenever a player who has had success is available for free, there's always a GM who thinks he can fix him.

Can't argue with that. I wouldn't use the word "disasters" for all, but they all have underperformed expectations. Nobody expected Stearns to go 6 for 6, but nobody expected 0 for 6 either.

For so many vets to underperform their regular numbers is pretty wild. This is certainly a drain where basically mostly everything that could go wrong has which I know no one wants to hear this, bad luck.

I do think there's a lot of lessons to be learned which in the long run could be a good thing. I also think the upcoming CBA played a big part in what was going on with the way the team was structured since there's going to be so much uncertainty after this year in regards to payroll which hurt us in some areas.

Also think lack of clubhouse leadership and canning all the coaches played a part. Team seems rudderless.

the only one that may not be a disaster is Bichette- but because of the $42 mil- that is still a disaster. And Polanco and Williams become even worse because of who we let walk to rely on these two.

I wouldn't call Robert a disaster. Of the players named, I think his expectations were lowest. We gave up nothing for him. Took a flyer that didn't work out.

Williams hasn't been a disaster either. He has been mostly good, but a few really bad outings have distorted his stats. That happens with relievers.

Agree on Williams. He has been solid in save situations. It's in non-save situations that he scuffled a few times. Just like the guy he replaced. The same guy who has missed considerable time for the 2nd in the last 3 or 4 years.
