That’s like driving from SPHS up to the Abbey, That has lots of potential for a big rivalry.
Don’t know if they still do it, but the Kannapolis – Concord rivalry involves the winning team taking possession of a large bell, that’s on a platform with wheels.
Hopefully, in the future, there’ll be something like that between South Point and Cramer.

Hope your right

Know a team that went 11-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play running this 80’s offense last year.
East Duplin, WRH, Tarboro, South Point, Hibriten, New Bern have all won Championships in the past 10 years running either a version of the wing t or flex bone.

It is the great equalizer, and it wins. I just think it will be harder and harder to run and keep kids in this day and age. Different day today than the last 10 years whether us old guys like it or not.

It is. If you go to the spread and keep the zone read, speed option type stuff your basically still running the same offense its just spread out and easier to throw out of. Ive seen some horrible looking spread teams that would have been better off running an "80s" offense.

You are 100% right. I mean you saw our offense last year and there was a lot of zone reads out of the spread. We have a ton of talent in the WR/TE department and we are still run first.

And all these teams running gh counter, thats a wing t concept.
I definitely think variations of it are great in every offense. However if you run a wish bone, red bone, or whatever you want to call it, it is getting harder and harder to get all the kids to buy into it with how easy it is to bolt to another program and not get ostracized like a kid used to.
