The dumb, stupid, cheating, Milwaukee Brewers have THE BEST RECORD IN BASEBALL.

They do not lose. How the f*ck do they do this? The Cubs have been playing well and find themselves 7 games back!

To win the division, they’ll need something crazy like a 15-game winning streak. Honestly, that might not even be enough.

This is setting up exactly like last year.

Cubs will blow out their pitching staff in the first round as they scratch and claw their way to a series victory.

Meanwhile the Brewers get the bye and sit and wait with a fully rested pitching staff and bullpen.

Too soon.

I assume Dean or Alcantara are going back down. Triantos has earned his shot. He's probably a strong candidate to be traded this year. He's mostly blocked in the system, although he has added outfield versatility the last two seasons at AAA

Tuned in to the last few innings on Marquee and listened to Rick Sutcliffe.

What a joke.
Give him a couple of pom poms and dress him in a skirt. Cubs broadcast really need a cheerleader and a guy that refuses to objectively describe the game???
Funniest comment was saying what a great idea it was for Suzuki to take a pitch so PCA could steal 2nd when everyone in Wrigley knew that was going to happen.
Then refusing to criticize Bregman for swinging at ball 4 that would have won the game.
What a clown.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You want a cheerleading pandering doofus behind the mike you should check out the play by play guy,John schiffren ,for my white sox.

Brutal, ears bleeding goof.
The hyperbole is so over the top, its wearing me out.

Nice win last night they really could use a win streak to get to 3 ish games back by trade deadline. That way Jed will have to shop outside the bargain bin, although I certainly don’t expect Skubal. Maybe Soriano from Angels which would be expensive but not a rental

The Angels are usually hard to deal with because their owner likes to get involved, but it's really worth kicking the tires on Soriano and Reid Detmers

I wonder what it would take to get both Detmers and Soriano from the Angels. That’s the move.
I've read Detmers is the Brewers #1 target. They can outbid anyone prospect-wise, but that's not their usual MO. That said, 90% of the rumors right now are just that.

I’ll be taking my gabillion bucks now.
No way. You know, and I know, and everyone posting in this thread knows that that bag of dicks Counsell had a sit down with Jed and Carter and they told him in no uncertain terms that Taillon was not to start (maybe not even pitch) to which Counsell replied....

You know, if I was an ahole like @HoggI74, I’d be rubbing his nose in the fact the Cardinals are getting humiliated at home in front of a few thousand disinterested missoura morons.

But I’m classy and s.hit. So I won’t. 😁

I would sure hope so. You're only double their payroll.

The Chicago Cubs have a significantly higher payroll than the St. Louis Cardinals for the 2026 season, sitting at roughly $222 million to $253 million compared to St. Louis's $119 million to $120 million.

Hell they even outspend Milwaukee by $100 million but still remain almost 6 games out of 1st.

Cubs fans have to be the most confident worst team of my lifetime. Unreal how much they think they've accomplished
