Spending less on talent than Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Oregon and Indiana.....about equal with Washington, UCLA and Nebraska doesn't portend "excellence at the highest level" or "the national championship our fans deserve."
And you know this based on what. Sure cant be any past history, because there isn't any.
Indiana has landed two four star recruits. They have really spend money on one kid this cycle regarding HS recruits. It safe to say they've spend a lot less than PSU. A lot of guys like you on here always declaring that the sky is falling and PSU is no longer going to be competitive, when there is no history going back on the current HS recruiting model more than really two years
Why not just enjoy the ride and watch what PSU does in the off season regarding the transfer portal, before declaring PSU a team that doesn't even pretend that it wants to compete at the highest level. Never occurs to you that the money PSU could have spent on guys like Spell, Borque and the three WRs might end up going to two your three guys that are going to come in here and start in 2027, which is far more valuable than HS kids. IU has shown that in spades.
Hey, I got good idea. Lets wait to see what is going to happen, before declaring that it is going to be a dissaster.
I can see it now. PSU is playing the national semis and you are on here going. Well, our recruiting stinks so don't get used to seasons like this because PSU doesn't even want to play football at this level.
