Yeah we can give Jimmy credit for that one vs USC in '24 as a big win being on the road. Thankfully he had Warren to catch 17 balls.

I don't give him credit for beating UDub at home in '24 as a big win as they were 0-5 in conference on the road that year (6-7 overall). Nor SMU nor Boise State. His jock sniffers can whine all they want.
Nowhere in my post did I mention Washington, but it didn’t stop you from being triggered apparently. It’s too bad that some can’t even enjoy wins anymore. Sad case of FDS, I guess.

Again it depends on what you call a big game. USC is a big name in college football but that team finished 7-6. I guess you could call beating Minnesota on Luke Reynolds' special teams play a big win too.

I consider PSU's 2016 win over #2 OSU a big win. It would have been a big win if PSU hadn't crapped the bed in the 4th qtr vs Notre Dame in 2024. Those back to back 1 pt losses to OSU would have been big wins. I think it has to be a top 10 if not a top 5 opponent to consider it a big win.
For me, a big win is a win over a ranked team. A "signature win" is one where the team PSU is playing is highly ranked (top 10). Just my opinion. Not looking to debate.

I agree, but there are some here in our fanbase that are so miserable that they let their hatred of one individual get in the way of actually enjoying wins like those and the first time the program ventured into playoff territory and won 13 games in one season.
2024 season was a good one. Thought the team showed a lot of guts to come back at USC. Traveled across the country and won. USC fought hard. Good game, good win. OSU felt close with missed chances. I thought PSU was competitive against OSU. I thought the team showed guts against Oregon in the Big 10 championship game. I thought it was a competitive game. The playoff wins were exciting, I thought they were dominant in those games. The loss to ND was the toughest because I thought they could have won. It was a fun entertaining season. They were competitive pretty much all season.

Nonsense. If they are ranked ahead of PSU then they are big wins.
Check Washington's schedule. They could easily be a 4 or 5 loss team. If USC beats Oregon it will be favored. If not PSU should be the favorite. USC has Oregon, Washington, Indiana and Ohio State in addition to PSU.
USC and Michigan are big games because PSU has a weak schedule and 10-2 could see them miss the playoffs.
