I literally covered this. I said that nobody feared Biden but that everyone fears Trump. He's a bad person. Joe was a good person. Literally the only thing they have in common is that that were both elderly. That's it.
Why can't you just agree with me, and a bunch of other posters on here, that comparing the two situations makes little sense?

not comparing Biden to Trump. I'm explaining why I think many Democrats continued supporting Biden despite his decline. The explanation is super duper simple:
fear of the alternative.
You yourself keep saying people feared Trump. Exactly. That's my point. If people believed Trump posed an existential threat, doesn't it make sense they'd be far more willing to overlook Biden's decline than they otherwise would have? Heck, after the debates Chis said he'd still vote for him. Why? Insanity? Fear? What do you think?
So, for the last dadgum time, that's
not saying Biden and Trump are the same or that their "situations" are the sam...it's saying fear is a powerful political motivator. Stop reading more into than necessary.
