Somebody needs to tell Barkann to shut up about Crawford “hesitating”. The contact play was on, he was out the second Muncy fielded the ball. At that point Crawford did his job by getting into a rundown. That was all JT having a brain fart, which he admitted to post-game.

Why not bunt in that situation ? At least get the tying run home. The infield, with the exception of Muncy, was playing back.

You can debate whether or not Crawford should have made the decision to break for home but once he did make that decision, he played it correctly. JT had third base, it’s Baseball 101.

Sosa will swing at anything - the ball could be 3 ft outside and he will swing. How about a bunt to move the runner, then a sacrifice fly would score.

Crawford did delay the out by getting in a run down. JT was ON third base then inexplicably ran back to second. That’s on JT. Dumb baserunning.
