I interpret it as AC being the leading rusher for the Huskers this year.Between Nebraska’s six scholarship running backs. Interpret this as you will.
It is coaching malpractice. With the portal, it's kinda weird we could be this thin at that spot.
Oline additions and mobile QB give Hope the room will be just fine. With the portal, it's kinda weird we could be this thin at that spot.
Funny you say that. I was just thinking that AC will basically be a less athletic AM with the same propensity for game losing turnovers.I interpret it as AC being the leading rusher for the Huskers this year.

I would LOVE for AC to have an "almost TM" like season because it probably means a nice seasonFunny you say that. I was just thinking that AC will basically be a less athletic AM with the same propensity for game losing turnovers.
self masturbation references are not allowed herePound the pebble!
Is Husker onanism frowned upon here? Asking for my rock pounding friends.self masturbation references are not allowed here
yes.. that is the equivalent of Scott Frost deciding not to go to a bowl gameIs Husker onanism frowned upon here? Asking for my rock pounding friends.
Still one of my favorite plays of the last few years. Him trucking Sanders was a great memory![]()
Georgia RB Dante Dowdell suffers serious injuries in ATV accident; Kirby Smart unsure of return timeline
Dowdell transferred to Georgia from Kentucky, where he was the Wildcats' second-leading rusher in 2025www.cbssports.com
"Georgia running back Dante Dowdell, who transferred this offseason from Kentucky, was involved in a serious ATV accident recently and is being treated for injuries, Bulldogs coach Kirby Smart confirmed Tuesday at SEC Media Days.
Dowdell is being treated at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, a hospital specializing in spinal cord and brain injuries.
"He's injured," Smart said. "We don't know when his return will be. I don't know the specifics of it, to be honest with you. It was a recreational vehicle, and he had some serious injuries."
Dowdell was injured during a visit home in Picayune, Mississippi.
"He's out of the really tough range, but as far as his complete health and coming all the way back, I don't know what that looks like in terms of this year," Smart said."
Actually it reminds me of 2021. The staff was putting all its money on a true freshman, Gabe Ervin who wasn’t highly recruited just like Rule wasn’t. But the staff believed they found a diamon in the ruff. which wasn’t the case.No doubt the most unproven RB room in my 50+ years of following Husker FB. Hopefully someone steps up and shines.
I've heard the talk about this kid and his potential... Seems like a ton of the talking heads are saying the same thing as you in that he's potentially the #1 or #2 guy... If he's really that good (hoping he is) then how in the world did he tumble out of sight? Literally everyone was ready to pick up the scraps from Penn State, how does the #3 RB get missed? something has me skeptical... pessimistically optimistic I guess...it's going to be okay.. they have to split time with a mobile QB.. thankful we got the Penn St. transfer though, I expect him and the freshman Rule to be the main contributors.
When you have a coach who’s philosophy is to copy the NFL model by solely prioritizing the QB while treating RB like an afterthought, it’s not surprising this is the situation.Actually it reminds me of 2021. I heard on a podcast that he was hurt and is probably a year away from really doing anything.I've heard the talk about this kid and his potential... 2002 as well.Actually it reminds me of 2021. The staff was putting all its money on a true freshman, Gabe Ervin who wasn’t highly recruited just like Rule wasn’t. But the staff believed they found a diamon in the ruff. which wasn’t the case.
My take as well. Not sold on him. I hope TJ overtakes himFunny you say that. I was just thinking that AC will basically be a less athletic AM with the same propensity for game losing turnovers.
Yes. Great moment. But also, about his only moment. Otherwise he was a slow, lumbering elephant with lousy vision.Still one of my favorite plays of the last few years. Him trucking Sanders was a great memory![]()
He said AM...... not the same Martinez, not the same production. Adrian was good and under different coaching may have been really good. Taylor was a human highlight reel.I would LOVE for AC to have an "almost TM" like season because it probably means a nice season
I mean we had the best RB in the big 10 and his best games were Ls. Obviously our defense was trash and we needed to put up a lot of points to win and therefore relying on a 200 pound back probably wasn't going to get it done. When you have a coach who’s philosophy is to copy the NFL model by solely prioritizing the QB while treating RB like an afterthought, it’s not surprising this is the situation.

College football isn’t the NFL. Our GM hasn’t realized that yetWhen you have a coach whose philosophy is to copy the NFL model by solely prioritizing the QB while treating RB like an afterthought, it’s not surprising this is the situation.
…that Georgia wanted.Yes. Great moment. But also, about his only moment. Otherwise he was a slow, lumbering elephant with lousy vision.
I don't think he is the #1 guy by default.. I just think he is the situational battering ram that we haven't had when it's 3rd and 1 type thing. I like the freshman Rule to sort of be the guy, but he's lacking experience and Mozy might get some passes thrown his way.. they will all be situational I think until someone emerges.I've heard the talk about this kid and his potential... Ervin was pretty good. Could have been better with a better O line. Most of the RBs we recruit are talented enough to be good college backs with the right O line play, QB and scheme.Actually it reminds me of 2021. The staff was putting all its money on a true freshman, Gabe Ervin who wasn’t highly recruited just like Rule wasn’t. But the staff believed they found a diamon in the ruff. which wasn’t the case.
I think he’s talented enough to look like an All American against our defense last year or against a Diaco D.I've heard the talk about this kid and his potential... Depth piece. Little to no risk to us to have him on the roster right now. How you doing Pennsy? My take as well. Not sold on him. I hope TJ overtakes him
Doing well! Enjoying the summer. A lot of fishing for Smallmouth on the Susquehanna river near me. Hope you are also well.Depth piece. Little to no risk to us to have him on the roster right now. How you doing Pennsy?
