I still wouldn't count him out, when you get as much talent as Cal does, you don't have to be a great coach. Big time talent make plays.

I'm not a Cal fan, but his recruiting has made him a HOF coach, and he has won a lot of games.

That's 100% correct, his "recruiting" got him into the HOF, not his coaching skills lol. He would literally have to luck into another title imo.

When you can get the talent Cal gets, it won't be luck, that gets him another title, it will be talent. He will have a damn good team this year. We will have to bring it on our home court this year.

Yes. He underachieved by at least a tournament win. He will almost every year. Acuff is one of the best college players Cal has ever had. He had tons of talent with lots of experience. Rinse and repeat. The previous year was a major choke job against Texas Tech. Cal gave the game away.

Arkansas fans maybe don't feel that way as they are probably happy with a SEC tourney chapmionship and a quick out in the big dance. Don't get me wrong, UK fans would like to win the SEC tournament again but ultimately they only care about national championships.

Most want to win the conference, conference tournament and make it to 2nd weekend of ncaa tournament.
Past several years can't even finish in top 3 of conference, win 1st game os sec tourney and bounced 1st game of ncaa tournament

With Calipari it takes talent & luck because it ain't his coaching lol, we all know this.

I honestly think last year's team with Acuff is better than this one but time will tell.
