Galaxy Stadium: Texas Tech lands $75 million naming rights deal with AI company
Texas Tech lands $75 million naming rights deal for football stadium. The former Jones AT&T Stadium will now be names Galaxy Stadium.
I'm okay with this if this means getting better players and start winning more games. But before you enter Country Pleasin Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field be sure to tailgate in the Pearl River Resort Junction where the Mossy Oak Famous Maroon Band and Cal-Maine Foods MSU dance team will be on hand to entertain fans.
I'd settle for getting the old Bryan Hump Dogs back...![]()

I think we should be more hip and forward thinking..... Buc-ee's Beaver Stadium at Davis-Wade field of Nuggets ***Country Pleasin Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field
The naming rights contracts I have seen, which admittedly can be counted on one hand, all have language which addresses this. The new name must be mutually approved by both parties and if it isnt, the contract is terminated early and compensation for remaining years is accounted for.So what happens when these companies cease to exist in their current form? Is the money paid up front and the school gets to sell the rights again? 15 years is a long time in the corporate world.
There is no problem. $75 million just sounds like a lot of money. If it is being paid out at $5 MM per year, its a little less impressive.I don't really see any problem with this.
We can't even get the Golden Flake sponsor
I would have zero problem with this. Also maybe, "today's broadcast brought to you by Flock Cameras."But before you enter Country Pleasin Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field be sure to tailgate in the Pearl River Resort Junction where the Mossy Oak Famous Maroon Band and Cal-Maine Foods MSU dance team will be on hand to entertain fans.

Roto-rooter field at Dude Wipe Stadium has a certain flow to it…I like it.Maybe stay away from Dude Wipes. Of course that is a natural fit for the Baseball Stadium for us.
You, sir, are a marketing genius. Get Dude wipes on the phone NOW!!Isn't Davis Wade basically the same thing? It's the dude that gave money to have his name on the building. So why would corporate sponsorship be any different? Maybe stay away from Dude Wipes. Of course that is a natural fit for the Baseball Stadium for us.
We don't have anyone giving us 5 mil for 15 years. I'd take it.There is no problem. $75 million just sounds like a lot of money. If it is being paid out at $5 MM per year, its a little less impressive.
Oh, I would too. Im just saying it's a less splashy headline. We don't have anyone giving us 5 mil for 15 years. I'd take it.
A family literally just donated 1 mil to NIL. Yall are clueless.Oh, I would too. Im just saying it's a less splashy headline.
5M > 1M. A lot more. Not sure what your point is.A family literally just donated 1 mil to NIL. Yall are clueless.
One family gave that. I'm sure a business could do way better than 1 million annually especially when it comes to having your name on the stadium/ field.5M > 1M. A lot more. Not sure what your point is.
Not to mention this is 5M yearly for a long time, not a one-time gift.
