Just a reminder, but France vs. Spain starts in an hour. Should be a good one. Two of the best players in the world going at it.
I think France wins, but it won't be easy.

Since three of the last four teams are European, FIFA is scheduling these games so they will be in primetime in Europe. If the US or Mexico was playing in these games, I'm sure they would be at a primetime start in the US.Does fifa mostly care about European audiences? Or is it normal to play really important matches at 2pm local time on a Tuesday?
***not shiiting on soccer - genuinely curious!
"International" is kinda right there in their name, Edward

Seem like a missed opportunity to grow it in USA. I'm only assuming that's even a goal of theirs based off the tournament (mostly) being here.Uh, yeah. They do care about European audiences.
They'll still get real good ratings in USA. Kids are out of school and lot's of people are on vacation (or at least two half-day vacations) or will be watching tonight on DVR (my option).Seem like a missed opportunity to grow it in USA. I was going to say north America but I guess it prolly couldn't get a lot more popular in Mexico. And also fifa might know more about it than me!
Spain has only allowed one goal the whole tournament in nearly seven full games. And as the old adage goes, defense wins championships.Spain‘s defense has been impressive. France has barely had a shot.
They had a great draw, haven’t had to play against Messi.Spain has only allowed one goal the whole tournament in nearly seven full games. And as the old adage goes, defense wins championships.
