But Iowa is “good”.It should trigger YOU!
That is the point. Why are you happy with not being good? That is weird, don't you think?

Okay, let’s go back to the start of two platoon football which started in 1964.Now just do the last 30 or 40 years…you know the timeframe that most people care about.
Anything less than 10 wins with that schedule and you and your boys need to be at the games of (where ever that school is located) calling for that coaches head. Period.lol…I’m just stating that I think Iowa will beat Nebraska again this year, just like I think Iowa will beat Minny, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, and Washington. Also, a possibility Iowa beats Michigan this season, while it’s very probable they lose to Ohio State. All B10 games are equally important.
I disagree...it is like sales. Sure it is great to have one big client but you need to fill your sales chart with a bunch of "little guys"No, only big donors really do along with how big of a buy out coaches have. For instance, I don’t think Nebraska would get rid of Rhule until at least 2030 due to his huge buyout.
I suppose if attendance at Iowa really went down a lot, it might have an impact on a head coaches longevity. However, Iowa’s had two head coaches in the last 40+ with good attendance during that timeframe.
Yeah, so you mean...3 national titles to never even playing in a title game? A missed FG from 3 in a row and 4 in 5 years? Now just do the last 30 or 40 years…you know the timeframe that most people care about.
Crickets.Okay, let’s go back to the start of two platoon football which started in 1964.
There isn't a single, current Husker player or recruit that remembers when Nebraska was good. Now just do the last 30 or 40 years…you know the timeframe that most people care about.
And there has never been one human that has ever seen iowa be good at football. You do realize that, right? There isn't a single, current Husker player or recruit that remembers when Nebraska was good.
But, hey...you fellas have that sellout streak and the balloon release with two minutes left in a game.
Not a single human ever has witnessed Iowa contend for a title but hey, you fellas keep waving at a hospital #8 winsThere isn't a single, current Husker player or recruit that remembers when Nebraska was good.
But, hey...you fellas have that sellout streak and the balloon release with two minutes left in a game.
The weird things that they try to rip on NU fans for...it just makes no sense. Not a single human ever has witnessed Iowa contend for a title but hey, you fellas keep waving at a hospital #8 wins
How f*cking old are you?!?Okay, let’s go back to the start of two platoon football which started in 1964.
Iowa’s first 3 Big 10 games are challenging…at Michigan, home vs Ohio State, and at Washington. If Iowa can win two of those then it could be a special season.Anything less than 10 wins with that schedule and you and your boys need to be at the games of (where ever that school is located) calling for that coaches head. Period.
Yeah, all donors are important, although some “big fish” more than others.I disagree...it is like sales. Sure it is great to have one big client but you need to fill your sales chart with a bunch of "little guys"
The big donors will always come back...but you lose 20,000 "little guys" that each give 2-3,000 a year...that is brutal . Those guys don't come back.
It’s still all about “what have you done for me lately” in sports and I’ll take Iowa’s recent past over Nebraska’s.Yeah, so you mean...3 national titles to never even playing in a title game? A missed FG from 3 in a row and 4 in 5 years?
That’s because you pee birds have absolutely zero history in college football. It’s still all about “what have you done for me lately” in sports and I’ll take Iowa’s recent past over Nebraska’s.![]()
Regarding your three points: #1…all Big 10 opponents are Iowa’s “Super Bowl”; #2 - not sure what your point is…of course a consistently high # of wins is important; and #3…Iowa fans “realistically” demand more, but certainly don’t want to go through a coaching turn style. That’s not really worked well for many programs…including Nebraska.I will give props to the iowa fans that post here that all have now admitted
1. NU is their super bowl
2. They are totally okay with #Wins
3. They do not demand more
Just say it with me...that schedule is a joke and anything less than 10 wins is a horrible season.Iowa’s first 3 Big 10 games are challenging…at Michigan, home vs Ohio State, and at Washington. If Iowa can win two of those then it could be a special season.
Hey I’ve seen Iowa “good” since the early 1980’s!And there has never been one human that has ever seen iowa be good at football. You do realize that, right?
But hey, you get to keep rooting for a coach that has been stealing from you for 30 years.
You are literally accomplishing nothing with the same coach for 35 years and you don't want to make a change to see if you can do better?Regarding your three points: #1…all Big 10 opponents are Iowa’s “Super Bowl”; #2 - not sure what your point is…of course a consistently high # of wins is important; and #3…Iowa fans “realistically” demand more, but certainly don’t want to go through a coaching turn style. Shouldn’t you be more concerned about Husker running back (Nelson?) who recently got arrested on assault/battery charges in Florida. The weird things that they try to rip on NU fans for...it just makes no sense.
All these lists of great teams and I can't find Iowa on any of them. Weird.
Kkkirk going to have to forfeit any more wins this year?Shouldn’t you be more concerned about Husker running back (Nelson?) who recently got arrested on assault/battery charges in Florida.![]()
And nobody but old Nebraska fans know, or care, about Nebraska’s football history. That’s because you pee birds have absolutely zero history in college football.
No dipshit we were GREAT!So, you need to have a perfect season to be good?
Actually, Iowa’s schedule has been rated quite difficult by the pundits.Just say it with me...that schedule is a joke and anything less than 10 wins is a horrible season.
No...I do't care about that stuff.Shouldn’t you be more concerned about Husker running back (Nelson?) who recently got arrested on assault/battery charges in Florida.![]()
Yes???So, you need to have a perfect season to be good?
I have no clue who they all play but if you just listed their 3 toughest games...then it is clearly not all that difficult.Actually, Iowa’s schedule has been rated quite difficult by the pundits.
Funny…coming from a Nebraska fan whose program has gone through a carousel of coaches with no, to limited, success. How many coaches is Nebraska still paying buyouts to?You are literally accomplishing nothing with the same coach for 35 years and you don't want to make a change to see if you can do better?
Dude, it is time to swipe right and try to get more out of your program. You don't have to marry the first girl you bang.
Sure do gets brought up all the time who are the greatest teams in college football history. And nobody but old Nebraska fans know, or care, about Nebraska’s football history.
Nope…we’re good.Kkkirk going to have to forfeit any more wins this year?
“Were” being the operative word there. Also, it wasn’t so difficult being “great” playing in the old Big 8 Conference. No dipshit we were GREAT!
I have no idea...I don't care. It is not my money.Funny…coming from a Nebraska fan whose program has gone through a carousel of coaches with no, to limited, success. How many coaches is Nebraska still paying buyouts to?
