lol…I’m just stating that I think Iowa will beat Nebraska again this year, just like I think Iowa will beat Minny, Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, and Washington. Also, a possibility Iowa beats Michigan this season, while it’s very probable they lose to Ohio State. All B10 games are equally important.
Anything less than 10 wins with that schedule and you and your boys need to be at the games of (where ever that school is located) calling for that coaches head. Period.

No, only big donors really do along with how big of a buy out coaches have. For instance, I don’t think Nebraska would get rid of Rhule until at least 2030 due to his huge buyout.

I suppose if attendance at Iowa really went down a lot, it might have an impact on a head coaches longevity. However, Iowa’s had two head coaches in the last 40+ with good attendance during that timeframe.
I disagree...it is like sales. Sure it is great to have one big client but you need to fill your sales chart with a bunch of "little guys"

The big donors will always come back...but you lose 20,000 "little guys" that each give 2-3,000 a year...that is brutal . Those guys don't come back.

I will give props to the iowa fans that post here that all have now admitted

1. NU is their super bowl
2. They are totally okay with #Wins
3. They do not demand more

There isn't a single, current Husker player or recruit that remembers when Nebraska was good.

But, hey...you fellas have that sellout streak and the balloon release with two minutes left in a game.
And there has never been one human that has ever seen iowa be good at football. You do realize that, right?

But hey, you get to keep rooting for a coach that has been stealing from you for 30 years.

Iowa’s first 3 Big 10 games are challenging…at Michigan, home vs Ohio State, and at Washington. If Iowa can win two of those then it could be a special season.

Yeah, all donors are important, although some “big fish” more than others.

Regarding your three points: #1…all Big 10 opponents are Iowa’s “Super Bowl”; #2 - not sure what your point is…of course a consistently high # of wins is important; and #3…Iowa fans “realistically” demand more, but certainly don’t want to go through a coaching turn style. That’s not really worked well for many programs…including Nebraska.

Just say it with me...that schedule is a joke and anything less than 10 wins is a horrible season.

You are literally accomplishing nothing with the same coach for 35 years and you don't want to make a change to see if you can do better?

Dude, it is time to swipe right and try to get more out of your program. You don't have to marry the first girl you bang.

Funny…coming from a Nebraska fan whose program has gone through a carousel of coaches with no, to limited, success. How many coaches is Nebraska still paying buyouts to?

And nobody but old Nebraska fans know, or care, about Nebraska’s football history.
Sure do gets brought up all the time who are the greatest teams in college football history.

And 1995 and 1971 are always amongst the top 5 and1995 the greatest team in college football history. You’re just jealous because your Clarkeye have never accomplished the heights that Nebraska football has.

I have no idea...I don't care. It is not my money.

And it is has not even been limited success, it has been zero. Just like iowa. If you are not making the playoffs, you season is not any type of success.
