yeah Gowdy should be the first phone call and if he would accept it would be the perfect replacement. But as we've both already said, I doubt he would. He moved on for a reason. Just not sure he wants that one him.

Evette makes a lot of sense currently. Mace is going to go all in trying to get it. Hell I wish Bobby Cox would be entertained. He'd be a really good choice but he has kind of moved on with his role with Sig Sauer

yeah he graduated The Citadel with me and we stay in touch. He was our regimental commander and a good dude. Recently asked if he was done with politics and he didn't rule it out but said if he did anything it would be bigger than district HOR. He's sharp...I'd definitely support him if he wanted a bigger role.
