I see you’re still blatantly lying about what I’ve posted. l’ve never once said it’s normal or that I condone her decision. And you’re fully aware of that. Yet you continue to lie anyway.

Not surprising, really. Your #teamblue buddies lap it up, so I suppose you might as well keep playing to the crowd.
Got it. You would not jet off to China, but won't keep kicking sand around.

So, his wife can still fax in some paperwork if needed, right? Completely normal stuff.
He's not even on life support. He's just dead. I just read to likelihood of survival if someone suffers a cardiac arrest and CPR is performed. It's less than 1%. Plus when they loaded him up into the ambulance he wasn't hooked up to any automatic Lucas machines or anything else and his face was covered with a sheet. MFer is stone cold dead.

So it begs the question. Why hasn't his wife and staff announced? TJ doesn't want to answer this.

They're protecting this seat. MFer is dead and their priority is to make sure a special election doesn't happen. Republicans are f cked up people.

I would pass on the FF knowing the Heels were guaranteed a win if my wife was lying in a hospital bed at the end of her life. It wouldn’t be a close call. Anyone who says otherwise might as well not bother being married.

Like I said, not all marriages are created equal.

My statement is 100% correct and you are flat out wrong to infer that it constitutes any sort of defense of her trip, especially after I have explained numerous times that I don’t defend it.

You would never leave your wife’s deathbed to go on a business trip to China. Neither would Tarheel or Lucas. Nor would I. That’s because we’re all 99.99 percenters. None of us are part of a Washington power couple. Much like celebrity couples, they operate by a different set of norms than regular folks like us.

Magic Johnson cheated on his wife literally thousands of times. 99.99% of wives would have ditched his *** decades ago. But he and his wife Cookie are still married to this day. Why? Because he’s Magic ******* Johnson. He’s one of the greatest athletes in American history.

With power couples and celebrity couples, business interests often take priority over personal needs. Infidelity is both more frequent and also more likely to be grudgingly tolerated.

Chao probably went to China because she wanted to attend to her family’s business interests. I don’t support her decision to do so and anyone who continues to insist that I do is simply being an ******* for the sake of being an *******.

My point from the beginning of this thread is that she didn’t do it because that was her plan to keep the doctors from disconnecting his life support and allowing Govenor Beshear to call a special election.

Anyone who thinks she did, or that it would even be necessary for her to do so, is an idiot.

Yeah, they were not doing any compressions when they were loading him up.

For those of you who keep needlessly reminding me they would never leave their wife’s hospital bed - if your wife was suffering a medical emergency, would you be cool with your neighbor recording cell phone video of her being loaded into an ambulance and then selling the video to CNN for nationwide distribution?

I’m guessing no. Because you’re in the 99.99%. That’s not normal protocol for normal people. But apparently it’s perfectly fine since it’s Mitch McConnell. People like McConnell and Chao live in a very different reality from what we experience.

The neighbor had no way of knowing whether Mitch was dead or alive. Again, would you be okay with your neighbor recording cell phone video of your spouse or loved one being loaded into an ambulance and then selling the video to CNN?

To me it seems like it’s crossing a line. But maybe I just have a skewed perception of what constitutes appropriate behavior toward neighbors.

Hey, man, you or I might not treat our neighbors that way, but some neighborhoods are just different.

If Elaine being sequestered in China was the only thing keeping Mitch artificially alive then why hasn’t the plug been pulled already now that she has been back in the United States for three days?

If that’s the case then it makes even less sense that she went to China specifically to keep Mitch on life support if he isn’t even on life support.

Your arguments are incongruous.

This is closing in on 30 days. Completely ridiculous. There needs to be proof of life or some kind of update by Monday at the latest. What can Breshear do if they completely ignore his letter?

People are saying they can just start the special election, make the courts stop them, and in court they would need to prove Mitch's condition. Something like that anyway.

I still wonder if it is as simple as having the cops do a welfare check.

Start at his home. Talk to his wife. Get answers.

I'll go. I haven't had Chinese food for a couple months and it sounds really good.
One of my all-time favorite scenes from Seinfeld is when Elaine and Jerry are talking about what to get for dinner.

Jerry suggests Chinese food and Elaine scoffs and said they just had Chinese food the day prior.
Jerry says "so what? I like Chinese food."
Elaine is like "who the hell eats Chinese food EVERY DAY?"
Jerry: "Oh, I don't know. About TWO BILLION Chinese people!"

:p

I’m not sure why you blame that on “my way”.

But, whatever….

It's not your way as in you own it, but that you are predisposed to stubbornly sticking to this line of reasoning. You can't seem to identify it, and that's okay, but it's true.

The only thing I have stubbornly stuck to is the same point I’ve been making since the beginning of the thread. The point I’ve made numerous time despite 20 other posters intentionally trying to twist my argument into something other than what it is and assign me viewpoints that I have repeatedly rejected.

Because that’s their way.

Honest question. If Mitch actually did die when he was taken away that day and they are hiding this to stop a special election from being held. If this is found out to be true, can criminal charges be brought against those responsible and if so, what changes (question for the actual attorneys here and not posters speculating)?

Reviewing the documentary Don't tell Mom the Babysitters Dead not only is Mitch's wife in the clear, but this should lead to her getting her own fashion line.
