Is Mitch a vegetable?

Please explain how it can be that Elaine Chao sitting in a chair next to Mitch’s hospital bed would be powerless to stop doctors from disconnecting his life support while Elaine Chao hobnobbing with Chinese dignitaries in Beijing can keep Mitch’s lifeless body artificially alive as long as it takes to thwart Governor Beshear’s efforts to call a special election.

Because even Tarheel eventually agreed with me that this hypothesis probably isn’t correct.
She had to ask her handlers what to do.

It's been pointed out, but the Republican Senators didn't say they talked to him. They specifically said they spoke to him. Talked implies a two way conversation. Spoke can be two way. It can also be one way like I spoke at a conference or I spoke to the ghosts in my house telling them to leave.

So technically the Senators could have had someone put Mitch's phone up to his ear, spoken about whatever they wanted, and all the while he was a vegetable and braindead and those Senators wouldn't have been lying about having spoken to him.
Yeah, word games aren't going to save people who are trying to cover this up.

Can't they call 911 for a welfare check?

Lol- just enter your handle in the search button 🤣

There is a reason everyone in this thread is accusing you of being a perpetual whataboutta fella.
Don’t weasel out like a little *****. You made the accusation, now back it up. Quote three (3) things I’ve posted recently that constitute a “both sides dance” and we’ll break down how/why that post constitutes a “both sides dance.”

We can do this in another thread if you’d prefer.

I’m not your trained monkey - you do it all the time and everyone knows it. Not going to spend my time documenting the obvious. I don’t give a s.hit about your denials and obfuscation as it’s transparently ridiculous.

Lol. You had plenty of time to write five (5) posts this afternoon accusing me of “both sides dancing” but you’re too strapped for time when asked to back up your accusation. If I do it all the time, as you claim, it shouldn’t take more than a couple minutes to come up with three examples. Hell, you can’t even cite one example.

It would take maybe 30 seconds.

It's also unnecessary because - as you can see from this thread - you are literally the ONLY one that claims you aren't a both-sides, whatabouta dooshalo.

So keep lying, or lying to yourself - whichever it is. The rest of us will just keep chuckling at your ridiculousness.

I love how you are still screaming yourself purple to explain that it's normal for anyone to fly off to China if their spouse is in the hospital. He isn't in for an appendectomy. He was found unconscious, and CPR was performed. Again, you jetting off to China if Mrs. TJ is in this state?

This whole damn thread is a testiment to how far this country has fallen...

I've never been a Mitch McConald fan, but the man is lying in a coma and by all accounts is about to die. It's my own belief that he'll be judged for the sum of his life's work and his beliefs (or lack thereof). I think we can all agree that regardless of what happens next he won't be here doing anything... good or bad. But according to my own personal beliefs, judging him is way above my pay grade.

The fact that people on both side of the aisle are essentially celebrating a fellow human's death is revolting.

But wagging your finger at the living isn't?

TJ gonna TJ

BRO PROVE IT! SHOW ME!

His way is a pretty good microcosm of what has happened with discourse over the last few decades, especially on the conservative side of the conversation. Every disagreement is an attack and is motivated by cruel and unnamed motives which the justifies the aggrieved to treat people they disagree with like human garbage.

If I had the energy, I would start another handle named TJbaltimornedbins and only post asinine both sides comments defending MAGAs.
BoTh SiDZ has pretty much dropped the charade, but still refuses to come out of the closet and put on the red hat. He's increasingly radicalized since TK dropped the hammer.

TJ's arguments are just about as coherent as Mitch's these days.
I’m coherent enough to know that you don’t have to fly to China to prevent your brain dead spouse being removed from life support against your will. So that places me at least one rung above almost everyone else in this thread.

I see you’re still blatantly lying about what I’ve posted. l’ve never once said it’s normal or that I condone her decision. And you’re fully aware of that. Yet you continue to lie anyway.

Not surprising, really. Your #teamblue buddies lap it up, so I suppose you might as well keep playing to the crowd.

I’ll open up the challenge to anyone who is willing to try. Post three (3) recent examples of me doing the “both sides dance.”

According to Torbee it will only take about 30 seconds of your time to do what he won’t can’t do.

Riiiight. I started by making the point that you don’t have to fly to China to keep your husband on life support - a perfectly logical statement that even Tarheel agreed is correct. And then a bunch of partisan hacks immediately started twisting my words into arguments that I never made. Even now Lucas continues to lie about me saying it was normal for Chao to go to China, even though I never said it and have repeatedly rejected that claim. But it’s somehow my fault that he keeps lying.

I’m one of the more reasonable conservatives on this board and would be more than happy to engage in normal discourse. But nobody here seems interested in that. They mostly just want to twist other posters’ words and assign viewpoints to people because evidently that’s easier than discussing what someone else actually posted.

Biden was certainly old and showing that age, but he wasn't medically brain dead. But I appreciate the ways you're able to connect things to Biden. BDS I suppose.
I suppose!!! Thank you for following me. I appreciate it. If the left is going to slam the Republicans then I am going to point out the same stuff that the lefttards do. Any problems?

Just might be nice to throw in an opinion or two once in a while about something going on currently. Maybe an idea on a policy. Idk, go crazy. But the constant one or two sentence drop ins, almost exclusively about Biden stands out and humors me is all.

OK, no insult intended, but I'm seriously trying to make sense of this ^^^^ post. What point are you trying to make in your first sentence? As for her location, the prior posts in these McConnell threads suggest that, under Kentucky law, she would need to sign off on a directive to withdraw life support, and if she is in China and making herself unavailable, that cannot happen. Right?

The second sentence of your post also confuses me because I am not sure which hypothesis you are referring to.

Imagine them trying to parse that if he is declared braindead on August 4 and removed from life support, and it turns out he had been that way for awhile.

The primary problem with this latest defense of your blatant lying is that now you’re trying to change the meaning of your own post as well instead of simply changing mine.

Your post had nothing to do with past incidents and pertained specifically to this most recent hospitalization. Here are your exact words:

“Somehow the whole Platner situation got resolved faster than being able to see one single statement by Mitch that he is even alive.”

Why would it be necessary to get proof “that he is even alive” prior to June 11, when he was clearly working and voting on Capitol Hill?

I mean, if we’re going to haul past incidents into the discussion now then we have to go back to at least last year when we learned that Platner is rocking Nazi ink.
I don't want to either argue with you or insult you. I am simply trying to understand you. Mitch McConnell was, indeed, still functioning (albeit with dubious cognitive skills) on June 11, which is the date that he cast what appears to be his final vote on the floor of the U.S. Senate. He appears to have suffered cardiac arrest at his home on June 14, underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation at his home (according to medical dispatch records), and was hospitalized that same day (June 14). He has made no public statements, has not appeared on TV, nor has he otherwise provided proof that he is actually recovering from cardiac arrest and CPR, and his staff is eerily silent, while his wife split for China.

I don't see how that can be regarded as anything but bizarre. At least not by any reasonable person. Would you not agree? It has even induced the Governor of Kentucky to send McConnell a letter asking for an explanation of his current condition. How many more days do you believe need to elapse before this situation should be regarded as bizarre, or perhaps even sinister?

You'll never box old Teej in. He's already wrote that narrative with "Some marriages are different" and "She can refuse to take him off life support in China or by his bedside". Nevermind that 99.99% of people would never leave their dying spouse, Teej is digging his heels in on the above two points that it's not that bizarre in his world

There's video out of Mitch being loaded into an ambulance to be taken to the hospital. Paramedics don't seem like they're in too much of a hurry. He's dead.
