Momcilovic doesn't have talent?Another "popey" no talent player
1st of all i never mentioned momcilovicMomcilovic doesn't have talent?
This!Well that shows Nikola is out. Sucks because guy is a stud and IMO we need another piece.
What in the living **** does it matter what he will do at the next level? Would you like me to go down the list of players who will never sniff an NBA roster that won titles or kicked the crap out of us the last 20 years? How about the two top 5 NBA guards we had that got smashed by a guy who is probably working at Home Depot now?1st of all i never mentioned momcilovic
2nd of all in terms of game changing season changing talent, also no
Good college players, but theres a reason why he wont ever be a contributer at the highest level of professional basketball
It's a good thing UK doesn’t play in the NBA then.1st of all i never mentioned momcilovic

"Who gives a squat about the NBA, when UK plays college ball?"It's a good thing UK doesn’t play in the NBA then.
So, the next question is, FOR THE COLLEGE GAME, would you, or would you not consider Wilkins, MM, Diallo and Momcilovic game changers?
Who gives a squat about the NBA, when UK plays college ball?
The teams winning titles, are not doing so with stacked NBA talent, it's the teams with veteran college dudes that are good enough to catch a cup of coffee in the NBA. The games are completely different.
this logic is how you end up with a team full of trent noah's and wonder why at the end of the year you have 14 losses. It's a good thing UK doesn’t play in the NBA then.

This dude isn't Trent Noah. He's close to 7 feet tall and is highly skilled. We've got multiple guys who can play minutes on the wing. It's the minutes behind Moreno that I am more concerned about. If we can't land Kustarica, I think we need another post player.this logic is how you end up with a team full of trent noah's and wonder why at the end of the year you have 14 losses.
you are just adding bodies for the sake of adding bodies. "we have guys that can play"......thats the problem. they can play, but are they dudes? no one knows and its just banking on hope. we need to add studs for it to really impact the trajectory of the season. This dude isn't Trent Noah. Ok, but there’s also a reason why contributors at the highest level of professional basketball were not good enough at 18 years old to take a college team to a title.1st of all i never mentioned momcilovic

When i said nba guys didnt necessarily mean oad guysOk, but there’s also a reason why contributors at the highest level of professional basketball were not good enough at 18 years old to take a college team to a title.
I think the evidence points to the fact that those “good college players” – especially college All-Americans and proven All-conference players – are the surest way to win in CBB. And many of those upperclassmen do/will contribute in the NBA.
On the other hand, I believe it’s clear that an OAD 18 yr. old freshman (regardless of where he’s from) is not a necessary component of a title contender; and if he’s your team’s go-to-guy then it’s like playing the lottery and expecting to win big. Meaning it could happen but it’s not likely. So, why go the more difficult route if you don’t have to? The high school players that are expected to be (or are determined to be) OAD are generally just not worth the investment of time and money that seems to be required – and I think the college coaches willing to make that investment are dwindling more all the time.
Ok, I get that. When i said nba guys didnt necessarily mean oad guys
yaxel wasnt a OAD but he was a lotto pick
Another "Anony" no talent post.Another "popey" no talent player
BS, the teams with freshmen lottery picks aren’t winning sh*t and Cal's 2012 title was a long time ago and was aided by a lockout and a generational talent."Who gives a squat about the NBA, when UK plays college ball?"
You gotta have guys like that to win
Hurley had em, may had em, cal had em when he won here, scheyer has em, self had em, pitini had em, florida was an outlier
but to be an elite team you gotta have elite coaching or elite players, ideally both
Pope isnt elite, so we have to get elite players to be really good and we dont have that, which is why we are constantly 10 loss teams
So Walter Clayton, Will Richard, Alijah Martin, Denzel Aberdeen, Chinyelu, Thomas Haugh, Tristan Newton, Donovan Clingan, Cam Spenser, Alex Karaban, Hassan Diarra, Elliot Cadeau and Yaxel Lendenborg are Trent Noah level guys???this logic is how you end up with a team full of trent noah's and wonder why at the end of the year you have 14 losses.
He played himself into the NBA, just like Brea and Amari Williams did. When i said nba guys didnt necessarily mean oad guys

We've got one spot left. Pope already has multiple guys slated to play the wing spots. If you can get a sure fire contributor like a Kusturica, then you do it. But aside from that, we do need another post body down low. Kepnang can't be counted on to give you those minutes all season.you are just adding bodies for the sake of adding bodies. Maybe plenty of wings in quantity not quality. Need more scoring from wing and guardWe've got one spot left. Pope already has multiple guys slated to play the wing spots. I hate Duke more than anybody but give credit where credit's due. In Scheyer's four years, they have won the ACC twice (with only one loss each season), finished second another year, have won the ACC tournament three times, has two E8's and a F4. I know the current ACC is pretty much what the SEC used to be most years, garbage, but we would love to be in their current position as a program. We are turning into Georgia basketball unless Pope can turn things around this year.BS, the teams with freshmen lottery picks aren’t winning sh*t and Cal's 2012 title was a long tine ago and was aided by a lockout and a generational talenr.
Look at the teams winning titles, they're loaded with juniors, seniors and super seniors.
Duke has been absolutely loaded with NBA talent the last few years, what have they won? Look at the makeup of the teams they keep losing to when it really counts.
If you want lottery picks, go watch the NBA, give me a senior laden team that has battled to get here.
How many L takes do you have?1st of all i never mentioned momcilovic

More than Pope at this point. Farrrrrr Anon! How many L takes do you have?
200439 before that last one is my guess. How many L takes do you have?
And the ACC has been soooooo impressive during that time. I guess “Georgia” beat Sheyer’s Duke, but who notices such things??? You sure hate Duke!!!I hate Duke more than anybody but give credit where credit's due.
