Clinton Shepherd is entered at 144lbs. 165 has both Melvin Miller and Joe Bachman along with the Cassioppi brothers. One interesting entry is Mario Hutcherson at 215. Is he getting that big or just doesn’t want to cut any weight?

I was never anywhere near as good as Hutcherson, but summer wrestling for me was show up, step on the scale, that is what I am wrestling.
Mario is not wrestling 215 / he is wrestling 190 there. PA made an error and put him in at 215... they have a few weights messed up. This will be corrected!
I understand that a wrestler could enter two or all three of folk, free, and Greco tournaments…

If I am wrong on that, it’s because I read it in the link at the top of the thread!
It does read confusingly. You are mentioning that link's reference to the USA Triple Crown award that goes to anyone who wins nationals in folkstyle, freestyle, and greco. The article does read as if folkstyle might be competing at Fargo, but it's not. Nationals for that style were held back in March:

Interesting to see Teag is listed for both 16U and Junior freestyle.
Re: “they have a few weights messed up. This will be corrected!” —- I wouldn’t just assume this will get worked out. Last year a 16U freestyle state champ was moved up a weight by PA Director due to PA bringing too many kids at that weight. Rather than bump up one of the PA kids at that weight who didn’t even qualify for the team, they chose to bump up the kid who won the weight at the freestyle state championships. Only after continued threats of lawsuits/violence was the state champ moved back down to the weight they won. The kid was rewarded by being placed in the same bracket of 8 with two of his high school teammates - quite the coincidence in a bracket of 256.

yeah.... thats messed up.
i could even get if that is part of a process / conversation ... to move someone but this appears to be more just mishap? You wonder how mishaps keep happening!
Guessing Dean Bechtold at 215 is also an error unless he is cutting some serious weight for Fargo

Is it because of the new IMG program or just kids moving? (e.g. DeKraker going from FL to PA and back to FL)

Kiovanny Hamlin PA and Levi Shivers AK are 14-14 after the first.
Hamlin is dominating like it's folkstyle but keeps giving up the strangest exposure. Shot a single and gave up 3 different exposures as he sat on his hip. Now a pin. It was the craziest match I've seen in years.

lol, 39 total points scored, and after the pin the refs and scoring table had a hard time figuring out who was actually pinned. The athletes didn’t seem to know either.
I think when a wrestler sits on another wrestlerss chest and pins them, we'll have to call it a Hamlin
Both at ETR next year, so you still get to see them compete in PA against PA & NJ's best even after they leave to go to Florida.
That was funny.
I think half the issue is that because Hamlin was sitting on him, neither wrestler recognized it as a pin since it wasn't a traditional pinning combination so neither wrestler reacted as a pin occurred. That got the ref confused.
There's a 17-16 match in the consys that they are trying to figure out now.

Just glad you guys fixed the camera issue. I believe you used Flo's AI, correct?
No idea. I didn't pay much attention to that this year, but I think you may be correct - they now have the cameras that keep the motion in the center of the video.
Next problem we have to fix in PA weather in January. I don't think AI has come up with a solution for that yet.
