Not the best tournament from Shepherd, gave it away on the front side and pinned quickly by the Iowa commit on the backside to DNP. Love the kids mentality but good bit to clean up. He got 2nd last year at 144.
Funny enough there was once a PSU wrestler who DNPed at Fargo after his junior year at 152 (Shepherd was 150) His name was Mitchell Mesenbrink and I think he ended up doing alright.

The state of Illinois has gone strangely silent recently re: Fargo once we started taking it more seriously.

Just imagine if we heard about this wrestling thing prior to 2011. We might be pretty good.
A M2 trained wrestler, Evan Cies, has won the 16u 113 Greco gold.
