Not all super heros throw sandwiches. For those, like me, who had to look up "Flock Camera":
A Flock camera is a specialized AI-powered Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) manufactured by Flock Safety. These roadside cameras automatically capture and catalog the license plates, make, model, color, and unique vehicle features of passing cars, creating a searchable database used by law enforcement and private communities to investigate crimes
They're also popping up all over biking/hiking trails in communities too. They're not just for vehicle information. For those, like me, who had to look up "Flock Camera":

Can they tell if you're watching porn?
No no no, I drive a company vehicle.I hope
yay mass surveillance
Thanks, AlaskaNole. I had no idea what a Flock Camera was. I wish they didn't exist at all. The can serve a useful purpose (every bridge in the Bay Area uses them to record the license plate and other information for cars as they pass the Bridge toll gates, which largely eliminates the need to employ humans to collect bridge tolls (and therefore saves money), but the potential for spying and abuse by law enforcement and other public agencies (FBI, CIA, NSA, and DIA, just to name a few) is just too much to tolerate. These weasels already engage in wholesale warrantless (and illegal) surveillance on a 24/7/365 basis, so anything that hinders their ability to do so is a good thing, in my book. Bringing back public toll takers is a small price to pay.For those, like me, who had to look up "Flock Camera":

Axon is the stock you want. But try to get it in the low $400’s. It’s really volatileI guess I should be buying stock in private prison companies...
Are they going to start issuing tickets to people who don’t yell “on your left” before passing fellow pedestrians? They're also popping up all over biking/hiking trails in communities too. They're not just for vehicle information.
I had a guy yell that one time when he was passing me, I was all the way on the right side, and once he got by me he stopped, turned around, and yelled at me for not "acknowledging" him. He was upset that I didn't say something back, or give him a wave, or something. That was a new one for me. Guessing if he's married, his wife hates him.Are they going to start issuing tickets to people who don’t yell “on your left” before passing fellow pedestrians?
