Haha! Love that.

Do parents now even ground their kids longer than 10 minutes let alone 10 whole days?
I think it is because a grounded kid, depending on the age, is even more ******* annoying.

It is one thing is they just hide in their room all day, thinking about how they will kill themselves and how "you will all be sorry"

But when they are like 9 years old and grounded...so they just bug YOU all day...**** that. Here is your ipad kid.

I laugh, but you're spot on.

Parents are such pussies now (my household included). Not only with "giving in" to their kids but for allowing them to be whiney & annoying. I don't blame the kids. They know what to do to get what they want, it's human nature. If it didn't work or if there were further consequences then they wouldn't do it (as often).

It is so true!

Like, Here, take your ipad...or go play your video games...or here is your phone back or here are the keys back to the car. BECAUSE YOU ARE ANNOYING.

The problem is parents today create this nice environment where your kids actually want to be at home and around you...

Back in the good ole days kids just hid in the basement all day or in their room or left the house as early as the could each day...the average time spent with parents when I was growing up was MAYBE 45 minutes each day...maybe.

Now...parents are so nice and fun that kids want to be around them.

One of the things that makes this country great is the hero’s of the fire departments! Especially the full time paid firefighters !
They are heroes but you could make claim the small town volunteer fire fighters are almost bigger. They aren’t getting paid but basically take the same risks.

Have you ever run across the UNICORN of American heroes? That person would be a full-time firefighter who is a part-time teacher on their days off, and also has a small farm as a hobby?
Soooo close!
I coached with a guy (great ******* guy too) that was a fireman (a captain but they are all captains so I don't think that matters) and on some of his MANY days off, he would sub at the school.

As far as I know, he did not do any farming though!

He would always laugh about how much money he made and how much he would keep making after he retired. He was awesome! I loved coaching with him.

Did he/you coach golf? That might be unicorn #2 since he didn't farm.
