Agreed, Piggy. But that will have to be imposed by legislation, I believe. I don't care what the legislator's party affiliation is. If he or she is a zombie or in a coma, he or she needs to cease being an officeholder. It's a frickin' embarrassment.
I read Adam Cochran's analysis of the situation and I have to say that it sounds too diabolical to be credited. It means that Elaine Chao is absenting herself from the United States so that her husband's apparent vegetative existence can be prolonged, and purely for political reasons. Maybe Donald Trump could do that, but I want to believe that Elaine Chao is not capable of that. Her husband is dying, fer Chrissake.
We would also have to believe it is all because Thomas Massie would definitely throw his hat in the ring for McConnell's seat. Massie just got primaried, no? What makes anyone think Massie could win that Senate election? We're talking about Tennessee, after all. (Edit: Oh, wait. It's Kentucky. Tennessee, Kentucky, Tomato, Tomahto.)
I really hope that I am not mistaken. That narrative is so pathetic that it reminds me of burying your deceased wife behind the ninth green of your golf course so you could get a property tax reduction.

On going investigation. I guess you are right in the sense that they new this administration would shut everything down and they should have been leaked, but then again, that wouldn’t have been right either. As long as there was an investigation there was a chance for justice. Pam Bondi shut it down. I wonder why?

Dems leaked, and manufactured, evidence yet we are to believe they withheld the damaging Trump info in the epstein files? Why would they risk treason if they had the goods on him?
