WTF are you talking about? Countless baseball players make the sign of the cross before an at-bat or before a game. Countless players point to the sky after a home run or scoring a goal. Tebow prayed on the field before and after games. I've been to multiple NFL games with players gathering on the field to pray together after the game. Countless players wear religious jewelry during games.
Not to mention there is a profession football team named the Saints.

That symbol is called fleur-de-lis. In Christianity, the three petals often represent purity, perfection, and light, while also being linked to the Holy Trinity and the Virgin Mary.

Still cannot answer my question, you panty waste. No one cares. What a little cuckold you are with your memes. You're so fking ignorant, Blacks in the South had freedom long before Galveston. You're just an ignorant fool. You're so ignorant, it's incomprehensible. When the Union won the war, over 400k in South Carolina alone were freed. Charleston fell under Alexander Schimmelfennig in February of 65. It represented 90 % of all slaves who were already freed. The entire state did in May. You are beyond fking clueless.
This is hilarious because I'm just randomly posting juneteenth gifs out of context and homie never asked me a question 😂😂

You do realize this is comparing apples and oranges right?
the military jerseys are meant as a way of saying thank you to those that served our country and allow us to have the freedom to be gay or straight.

It is not apples and oranges. Someone may be a pacifist, and not support the military. Or may have any other number of reasons why they don't want to support the military, or wear the flag ... including a reason tied to their religion. That is exactly the same as not supporting LGBTQ+ to the point where you won't wear a rainbow.

the pink jerseys are in support of breast cancer.

No. They are not supporting breast cancer ... because that would be inhuman. This is just you being stupid. It's supporting breast cancer awareness, so we can FIGHT breast cancer ... not support it. Learn words.

neither of these jerseys are forcing any agenda. Now I will admit, alternate jerseys are getting out of hand and have become more of a “how can we make more money” type of thing.

Yes, military appreciation nights, and breast cancer awareness nights ... and making people stand for the National Anthem ... and having military flyovers ... they are all "forcing" an agenda. They're just agendas YOU, personally, support. Many others do, too. But that doesn't mean everyone does.

I don't even necessarily disagree with you that these gay pride nights shouldn't be forced onto players, even though I definitely support the LGBTQ+ community. It's just that you don't actually understand what you're saying ... and you will condemn one action, because you don't support the underlying cause, and support another action, because you support the underlying cause, even though they're of the same type, and should be allowed or prohibited equally.

Have gay pride nights, if you want, but don't force people who object to do something special for it (like wear a special uniform, etc.) ... and if that would end up looking weird, then don't have the uniforms at all. Just like we should allow people to kneel for the Anthem ... the Anthem that shouldn't even be played, and we shouldn't have military appreciation uniforms, either. But you can have a military appreciation day.

Hey r-tard, it was York Pa. Not New York, do you lie and make up everything you post?

Whatever you say, bud. Stop being a homophobe.

Also: says “r-tard” like a tough guy, but is too scared to actually say it. Classic McNibbles. No wonder your grandma was so disappointed in the “man” you’ve become. Fretting about gays on the internet and always a victim. Time to grow up, bud! Log off for the night, bud! You’re always getting dunked on, bud!

There’s a difference in asking an employee to do something they may or may not disagree with and forcing an employee to be part of an agenda or movement as you will.
I asked this question earlier, would you like it if a team had a gun night where they promoted guns? It’s not like they would be telling the kids to buy a gun and shoot stuff, shouldn't be an issue right?
what if they had a kkk night where you dressed in a white hood and learned about what it meant, I’m sure nothing would come of it.
maybe we can promote the swastika and have players wear that and start telling kids there’s nothing wrong with a little history lesson.

Even though your hypotheticals are odd, nonsensical and disturbing, I image the same dynamics would be in play.

An employer would weight their perception of what their customer base would like to see, plan events accordingly and ask that their employees conduct themselves professionally...or quit. Which is what the baseball team chose to do.

You seem to want to equate pride with inanimate objects and organizations roundly rejected and known for brutal violence. That is a perspective I will not share with you.

Who said that? They can ask, they cannot demand. Any employee can simply walk away. This isn't rocket science. Smart employers walk away from ignorant politics. I give you Disney, who went from $200 to $86 per share. They are currently at $103 per share. Yeah, that worked out well.

So...you're complaining about nothing? Awesome.

Wife & I went out for burgers & a drink tonight. Walked in, see a pride flag. STRIKE ONE. What's on one of the TVs, Morocco playing a world cup game. STRIKE TWO. What's on a different TV - Braves-Brewers. Big ad on the back of the mound for Harrah's Casinos. STRIKE THREE. Finally, what do I see as I'm angrily eating my burger - a retro arcade game. MICHAEL JACKSON'S MOONWALKER. STRIKE FOOKIN FOUR.

The table next to us was a family with a 2 year old girl. I told them I hoped they would be happy with a lesbian Muslim gambling addict who may or may not diddle kids for a daughter. My wife apologized to the table but they're lucky I didn't call social services.

This isn’t as easy as you all think. If your work gave you a pride shirt and said you have to wear it, that is against the law. You can’t force your employees to do something like this. It’s like telling them they have to celebrate Juneteenth, Kwanza, Christmas, a Jewish holiday. I guarantee this will turn into a legal battle. If you want to celebrate as an organization outward to the public, fine, but leave the players out of it. You can’t force them to celebrate being gay if they don’t want to or believe in it as a religious person.

This is where I landed. Anyone can believe in what they want and be who they want. I think if you wanted to sell jerseys or hats to the public, that's great totally fine. I just wouldn't force players to wear them for exactly this reason.

Perfect. So you believe women can’t be priests. How do you square that with your virtue signaling?
Listen up pup — I eat meat on Fridays, but I bless the steak with a salt shaker and say it's now a fish. How do you square that with your virtue signaling?

Let’s hope more teams start to do this.
Not sure how sports teams are allowed to force this on their players yet fine them for putting Bible scripture on their caps.
STOP forcing gayness on everyone.
WTF are you talking about? They own the team. They can tell their players to wear whatever uniform they like. Players can refuse. Management can then make a decision whether to bow to their employees or move forward. What they should have done was sit those players for the game and sub in for them.

And, BTW, MLB will fine a player for writing ANYTHING on ANY cap they wear in a game. It's a rule, dumbass.

OMFG I just realized who OP was. FFS, exiting the stupid thread. ✌️
Same. I have been gone for a week and opened this and after a few posts realized who we are dealing with. :sneaky: I mean I knew OP had a toddler he wanted to eventually serve under Baron potentially in a future war? But for him to admit he has a wife also?!? Can you imagine their home life? When doing that it should give you pause and realize not to engage with his unstableness.

Awe look how butthurt this guy still was yesterday afternoon. Still fuming since Friday.
An owner could have done that. Your also assuming they still would have had enough players to play and how does it look when a good chunk of your players don’t want to support gay pride/grooming and you say tough sh.it and play anyway.
about the caps, thanks for pointing out again how hypothetical the mlb is when it comes to religion and gay stuff to make money.

Once again assigning emotion to those who point out your stupidity. The last refuge, as it were. As for the owner/player dynamic...well, that's between them now isn't it?

I have no idea what you mean by "hypothetical"... it's in the major league rules that players can't make any modifications to their uniforms. The league gave them a choice. The only people "butthurt" in that situation were the players who were free to wear their standard gear but chose to wear the pride hats and make political statements.

It's all projection with this guy. He's always calling me a liar and a troll because he knows that's what he is at his core. He's been busted lying on the old site and he squirms whenever that is brought up and gets incredibly defensive. Same with the troll line. He keeps burning through handles while crying that he's an unjust banning victim, but the reality is that he's worthless and brings no serious intelligence or insight to any topic, so he just sh#t talks.

He also calls everyone "bud" because it makes him look hard AF.

Pretty sure he just "owned" you, bud.
This handle can’t even answer a question because all it knows is trolling.
