List? Not watching some dude's video on Instagram. Moreover, these numbers are not published by schools, so sourcing is a problem. Whatever his list, it's a guess.

I mean, these numbers are all guesses and the guesses are just going to be the best teams and/or the teams that get some good players.

Indiana, in cigs first year, had no one...but did great...so then the second year everyone thinks they must be spending 40 million.

Right now, those podcasters and radio dudes LOVE that their are no real numbers because they can make up any numbers they want and run with it...

But, don't kid yourself. There is pretty much a 1 to 1 correlation between money and success. Best players end up at the schools with the biggest payrolls. Much like pulling ***. Hottest women end up with the dudes with the biggest payrolls. That's just how life works. Generally.

I just mean that the numbers we hear are just being pulled out of the air.

True, but it goes both ways. It takes money to be successful, but there are plenty of schools every year that have money and don't have success. So, once again, it's back to competent leadership being the difference.

And this is why Rhule should not have been hired in the first place, let alone, get an extension.

It does not take 4+ seasons to see if a coach has "It".

"An organization called "College Front Office" has been compiling estimated NIL valuations for 68 teams in the Power 4 conferences, with the ultimate goal of determining which team has the most valuable roster in the sport. And, wouldn't you know it, there are plenty of playoff and SEC teams near the top of the list. Here's how the top 15 looks, per their estimates.

Texas - $47.9M
Miami - $44.0M
Ohio State - $43.5M
LSU - $42.8M
Oregon - $42.8M
Notre Dame - $40.4M
Texas A&M - $38.9M
Alabama - $37.2M
Texas Tech - $36.3M
Tennessee - $35.7M
Ole Miss - $35.2M
Georgia - $34.2M
USC - $34.2M
Oklahoma - $33.0M
Michigan - $32.4M"

Ten are in the South and eight are in the SEC. That pretty much tells the story. Other than Indiana these schools will probably determine the MNC. Of course lets see how Indiana does in the next few years.

If your said team wins at a level you are comfortable with ( not everyone can win it all) you will be happy to keep forking it over. That’s what it will come down to .

It is the new "Coaches Buyout"

If the fans are happy with what you are doing (iowa, minny, NW) they are fine giving money for lame results.

Maybe...maybe it was 50

Maybe it was 20...no one knows.
It works both ways. Money did help Cignetti at Indiana but he is a great coach. Money( Cody Campbell) is the only reason Texas Tech is where they are at . Joey M is an average coach at best.

I was talking about the higher ups like a Texas Tech for example. If Cody Campbell is fine with Tech making the playoffs and getting destroyed in the fist game he will keep giving.

I believe it. Indiana now has a billionaire booster in Cuban that is willing to spend whatever it takes. Especially now that he doesn't own the Mavs. I believe he has pretty much said as much.
