You can pull for whoever you want but I'm pulling for UGA. In part because they're my second favorite team and in part because I want whoever wins that side of the bracket to have to play again tomorrow night. Any advantage for the Heels has my support!

I appreciate that. (I mean that sincerely.) I stepped outside after they scored their 7th run and took a short walk, then came back for the bottom of the 9th to watch our last three outs. It worked. Just had to change something up. You know how it goes.

Except the everyone on our team having a collective stroke with 2 outs in the 7th, we played pretty awesome baseball. Shame we had to burn Glauber he’s throw basically 90 pitches this week. Would love for decaro and Duffie to get it done Saturday and then Lynch/Glauber piggyback Sunday
Agreed, but I know he wants to figure it out. He looked annoyed that the last out was a warning track near-miss. We'll need him at his best, especially if we face Georgia.
Nail bitter for a 5 run win- today has been stressful all damned day. 5 1/2 hr exam at work- get home just in time to watch WVU put up a 5 spot. At least both turned out for the good guys!!!
Great job getting it done. Hate the lapse, but if Jason can go deep on Saturday, McDuffie should be ready to go if needed. Would love to rest Glauber until Sunday or Monday if needed.
You have to be able to spare a few runs and still have a cushion before you get the luxury of going deeper into the bullpen than usual. But man, it’s nerve wracking to still have to watch those runs score. In the end, it played out as predicted.
Hopefully DeCaro throws a gem and we don’t need Glauber until Sunday.
Thrilled with the performance of Jackson Rose. He's the star of this game for me. He came in and calmed things down after Folger got off to a bit of a rocky start, then shut them down as we built our lead that ultimately won the game. Great to have him in a purple patch of form going into the finals.

We are in great shape here. If Oklahoma wins we are playing the team with worse pitching, offense but is hot much like West Virginia. Georgia is really damn good but they have to burn their arms just to even get to the championship

I feel very good... I don't feel great. Just one lazy play, a couple missed chances to make plays, inability to execute pitches, a FEW lucky ace bloops, lucky hits... If Coop isn't lazy we're prolly looking at a 12-2 win and no Globe pitching. Good news is that there is plenty of stuff for Forbes to get their attention with going into the final series vs. riding high thinking they're great.

Forbes says one hour rest for each pitch thrown. Globe is easily available Saturday.
It’s freaking hard to win the baseball national championship…and we get a shot at it!! Fantastic job boys, minus that one crap inning. Regardless…we now have a shot.
Yeah it’s not even debatable. He’s thrown 55 pitches since Sunday. He threw a little over a side bullpen today. 46 pitches. He’s fine
Well…..WVU is a damn good team and those kids were playing for their baseball lives. They weren’t gonna lay down.
Biggest point(s) for me - we swung the bats well…..and went 3-0. Another two day break is huuuuge.
I think if we don't have a huge lead, or this situation comes up this weekend, he'll get to stay in longer and work through his minor "hiccup" in the last inning. Forbes wanted to get those guys after Rose some work and hopefully build some confidence. But, the rest of our pen is unfortunately just what they've been all year. mediocre to sub-par. We really only have 5 pitchers that have been/ are truly trustworthy this year. Good news is that all 5 should be mostly ready to go. I do think the extended pitch count will take away the long relief option for Globe if needed on Saturday, which hopefully isn't a concern.
This was first time I had the psyche of “oh chit” the entire time and we were way up.

Right. It's funny - at the start of the postseason I had the feeling that our lack of depth after those 5 guys would spell our doom eventually as the tournament ground on and we'd need to burn arms. But miraculously, we've made it to the doorstep and all 5 of our guys should be rested and ready for the game Saturday. As far as Saturday, if there's anybody I trust to give us a deep outing it's DeCaro. Just really want to finish the job. This program deserves it after what they've done these last 20 years.

What a win, I’m just so proud of this team. It’s unbelievable the poise they continue to show in tough situations and ability to get out of jams. Today the bats came alive too.
