Why would we make a peep about an event we didn't see and wouldn't have known about without the fuss caused by the inappropriate guests? Why is hosting a Pride event wrong? A minority of 35% of Americans hold anti-lgbt views so why should their prejudices be catered to when not a soul is being harmed?
What does celebrating homosexual sex at the WH have to do with 95% of Americans.

You're a lot more forgiving than I am. I'm of the opinion that it's possible to ignore literally any sort of content if a person wants to bad enough, and am happy everyone has the ability.

The whole forced to acknowledge things that I disagree with is just, IMO, weak people making excuses. Or, more likely, drama queens choosing to seek out rage bait.
Taxpayers are funding these procedures in many states. That’s forcing it.

This is force. Taxes shouldn’t be paying for kink.

There’s literally a post right above this. Cmon man. A response to your comment. With someone that actually had the procedure paid for by taxpayers. Are you serious?

Yeah, you shoehorning in some surgery in Colorado that has nothing to do with what I said was confusing because it's a non sequitur. Sorry for not being able to keep up with your erratic thought processes.

I wish you guys would just admit you got fooled by some “chick” at a bar and went to far when you got home with “her”. Now you have to defend the honor of the alphabet Nazis because you’re embarrassed.

you said it’s not forced. I showed it is. Keep up. It’s not that hard. It’s called a conversation.

The alphabet is the religion of the left. It’s so obvious. They’d rather give free reign to 0.2% of the population (sounds familiar) than have a society that protects women and children. Trump is having to sue states to keep boys off the fields with girls. To think that’s good for the “cause” is unreal.

I have no idea why you keep talking about surgery, or think that is what I was talking about.

It's a strange fixation.

Edit; never mind, you're a disturbing fellow not unlike the other guy. Best of luck with that.

LOL no. Does that prove this as true?

"I find it strange that your entire party white knights men competing against girls.:

Here, I'll help you out. I am a democrat. I don't believe that biological men should be competing in women's sports.
Oh I know. It’s the craziest thing. None of you support it but your party that you vote for over and over supports it 10000%. It’s so weird.

You had to pay for paramount plus to see the fights. No one made you buy or watch it. Just stop it. If you’re ok with trannies being there you should be ok with fighters being there. That’s all. You do understand this entire thread is libs crying about one while praising the other right? That’s my point.
Wrong, I watched some of it on Paramount + because I get it for free as part of my internet bundle. Though I thought it was tacky as hell, I didn't say that much about the event, so your point is lost on me, but based on you and your cohorts raging homophobia, I perfectly understand why some presidents feel the need to host these events.

You should go back to your “No Kings” rally playa.

To be honest, I don't recall the pride parade at the White House but my life doesn't revolve around hating the gay and "all the letters community" like you and some others on this board. And no group displays more hypocritical double standards than the Maga crowd does.
While I agree with you about the double standards, a lot of the people who refuse to be critical of "their team" now justify it because of verifiable progressive excesses. For instance, while you're dismissing everything as "hating the gay," what we're actually talking about is a cross-dresser being invited to the White House and walking around openly showing their fake breasts.

I also don't think there needs to be a Gay Pride event at the White House anymore than there needs to be UFC fights there, although I do recognize the difference between some huge gladiatorial spectacle people had to pay to watch and something to engage an interest group that is inherently political. I suppose you could have a fairly decorous Gay Pride event at the WH, but that would mean it would be very different from other Gay Pride events that are far from the kind of buttoned up event our president should be hosting. Gay Pride events are just as inevitably going to descend into debauchery and buffoonery as UFC events are going to descend into trashiness and outlandish partisanship.

You're confusing parades with a normally staid event at the WH where they hear some speeches and such so don't allow that one outlier to cloud your thinking about hosting a group that you would otherwise hear nothing about. I looked into it and found this note:

"White House Pride events are typically formal, invitation-only receptions focused on speeches, advocacy, and community celebration, making them fundamentally low-key and traditionally non-controversial. The 2023 South Lawn topless incident was a major outlier that the administration publicly condemned, banning the attendees involved."

If it makes you feel better, the individuals who did that were banned from the WH.

“The behavior was simply unacceptable,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday. “It was unfair to the hundreds of attendees who were there to celebrate their families.”

Should the bare-chested men who took part in the UFC spectacle face similar sanctions?

I think it was predictable that kind of thing would happen, and also a result of a WH that didn’t want to face what they’d actually invited to come. I’m obviously not a fan of UFC coming there, and would absolutely sanction the guy who made the comments about Michelle Obama. I’d rather ban both of those presidents from the WH, though.
