This is gonna bruise some egos.......

"What's far more instructive than turnovers is turnover rate. Chelsea Gray is at a horrendous 23.8% (on a smaller usage rate at 18.5%). Olivia Miles is at 18.8% TR (*while seeing less defensive pressure) with a 24.5% UR...............

Caitlin Clark is at 19.9% TR (*as one of the most heavily-guarded players in the league) with the second-highest UR in the league at 31%"

And for context, because context matters despite what some fans that think they read better will say:

  • Turnovers: The raw number of times a player or team accidentally loses possession of the ball to the opposing team (e.g., via a lost fumble, interception, or stolen pass).
  • Turnover Rate (or Turnover Percentage): The percentage of a player's or team's total possessions that end in a turnover.
  • Context: While a high number of turnovers is bad, the turnover rate provides a more accurate measure of a player's efficiency, accounting for how much time they actually have the ball.
Also,

Usage rate in basketball estimates the percentage of a team's offensive plays that a specific player is personally involved in—either by taking a shot, attempting a free throw, or committing a turnover—while on the floor.
  • Primary Creators: Players with high usage rates (usually 28% and above) are your primary scoring options, primary ball-handlers, and main offensive engines.
  • Not a measure of efficiency: Usage only tells you how often a play ends with a player, not how successful they are. A player can have a high usage rate while shooting very poorly.
  • Interpretation differences: Because assists are not counted as "ending" a possession, pure playmakers (like traditional point guards) may deceptively have lower usage percentages than ball-dominant scorers.

League benchmarks
  • Elite Stars: The highest usage players in the league frequently sit around 30% to 36%.

CC MVP run in spite of her own organization rallying against her.

I'd be here (on social media in general) for the saltiest of reactions to it happening.

It would literally rival the Democrats suffering public emotional and mental trauma from Trump becoming President (both times).

The crashouts will be spectacular. 😁
Yes cause this administration is nailing it.. if you voted for a dumpster fire of grift and corruption then you're certainly "winning". Also.
Take that **** to another thread.
Thank you for your attention on this matter.

9 assists but I just don’t think this style favors the Fever. I kinda get now what SW sees.

Just too sloppy and horrible transition D to play this fast.
It’s sucks. Entertaining but they throw the ball all
Over the court, can’t catch passes, and get all out of position on D.

I'm sure they're ragebaiting on social media about Clark crying on that last turnover she got stripped on.

I really do wish she'd stop hunting for assists if she can't get layups. I've only watched maybe 10 minutes and she had 3 wide-open opportunities to shoot in the middle of the lane and passed it up or eventually turned it over..................

CC can't believe she's missing these relatively easy threes. She threw her arms over her head after that last miss.
