I

I didn't say anything about the offseason.

Taking stress off CC allows the rest of the team to round out (develop), while preserving her health.

Why is it that no one ever seems to have a clue what I'm talking about?
It’s equally as brutal on her body coming off screens (as we’ve seen) than it is having her handling the ball. Playing her off ball is not going to preserve her health unless they just ignore her. At lease Christie Sides sent video to the front office to try and get help…I doubt White has done anything like that.

Back to the turnover debate. John Wooden stated:

“If you’re not making mistakes, then you’re not doing anything. I’m positive that a doer makes mistakes.” Coach John Wooden

He also said he wanted his teams to have about 12-14 turnovers a game.

His teams played on the edge - never conservative or safe.

I just looked at the Final Four box scores for four of his best national championship teams from 1968 - 1971. Those teams averaged 21.25 turnovers a game in thier 8 Final Four games. It's an amazing stat for UCLA teams as talented and well-coached as those. Here are the games and TO stats -

1967 – 68
v. Houston – 23 TOs
v. North Carolina – 26 TOs

1968-69
v. Drake – 21 TOs
v. Purdue – 19 TOs

1969-70
v. New Mexico State – 20 TOs
v. Jacksonville – 23 TOs

1970-71
v. Kansas – 24 TOs
Villanova – 14 TOs

It's no coincidence that the WNBA TO leaders are all among the league's top players.

I swear, some people seem to think zero turnovers for a point guard is the ideal. It's not.
My dad used to yell at me to “do something, even if it’s wrong.”

This is asinine, as are most of your posts.

CC has the 2nd highest usage % in the WNBA this season (which would also rank her top 25 all time) and you constantly whine about her hot having the ball enough.

And you think the Fever will trade her after next season? 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
She has a high usage percentage when she takes over, not when she’s stuck down in the corner. And I think they may trade her next year if she tells them she’s not going to sign with them….they will want to get something for her. And I guess I could make my posts even more asinine by using laughing emojis like a 12 year old girl.

More nonsense from you. Her PER is 19.7, which is 2nd on the Fever behind Boston's 23.7

View attachment 1326518

She's not even close to the top 10 in the league:
Wilson 32.17
Plum 27.72
Howard 26.51
Miles 24.41
Mack 23.92
Shepard 23.89
Boston
Sabally 23.09
Stewart 23.03
Iriafen 23.38

She was #2 prior to the last game according to basketball reference.

I never said anything about coming off screens.

I was talking about mixing in some easier minutes.

Playing off the ball can sometimes mean chilling in the corner. Which you clearly understand, as you mention it in the bottom post, here.

And btw, those possessions in the corner are part of CC's OVERALL usage rate, in which she is 2nd in the league

Ooh ooh, I can answer that!!! 😃

It's because you intentionally leave your posts vague enough for people to not understand wtf you're talking about, or believe that what you said was flat-out wrong, so that you can talk in circles and pretend that you're never actually wrong by telling people, "No that's not what I meant. Stop mischaracterizing me and read better."

Again, everyone sees you doing this sh**, but this is you:

"I stepped on a rake at the house the other day and my wife laughed."

Random person: Why'd you leave your rake lying around your house for you to eventually step on?

You: "I wasn't at MY house. Read better and try again."

Random person 2: I think it's funny that your wife laughed at you.

You: "I never said my wife was laughing AT ME. Stop mischaracterizing me and read better."

That is how you post.........Everyone knows it. Nobody cares if you wanna publicly deny that. Now shut the f*** up and kindly,

Today's votes. Feel like I'm pretty locked in here. Sykes could swap with Rhyne, but the rest feel set.

disappointing news: the defending champ Fever did not qualify to play in the 2026 Commissioner’s Cup game.

Serious question: is there anything left to play for this season?

CC MVP run in spite of her own organization rallying against her.

I'd be here (on social media in general) for the saltiest of reactions to it happening.

It would literally rival the Democrats suffering public emotional and mental trauma from Trump becoming President (both times).

The crashouts will be spectacular. 😁

Tune in to see what kind of tension is between White and Clark tonight!
Every gesture, no matter how small, will be dissected and over analyzed to somehow fit the conspiratorial narrative that the Fever organization is out to stifle, curb, limit, or otherwise stick it to Caitlin Clark. If you can’t see it you haven’t been watching - really watching- Fever games.
