2 and Q rebs

What's the history behind "Q" in this phrase? I know what it means but why Q?

I've seen it said two ways: 2 and "Q" as in, they played two games then got barbecued. Or "2 and queue" as in, played two games then go get your asss in line with the rest of the people leaving the stadium.

It's pretty stupid, but a lot of people say it (not just Mississippi State fans). 2 and barbecue. Makes no sense at all.

It doesn't make a lot of since since 0-2 shouldn't really translate to 2 and _____ but people like catchy little rhymes so here we are.

Losing by 1 at their place twice shows how close we came this year. The first game especially after going up 7-0!

If we take care of business at home against either TN or GA even 1 game instead of losing all 6, we wouldn't have had to go to Athens and play them again

I always assumed 2 and que just meant you lose 2 games, get eliminated, and join the riff raff in the parking lot eating bbq.
