They didn’t deserve to be there. Fitting that Troy’s first CWS win sends the rebs home.
Didn't Darren Williams have 3 INTs in that game and we still lost?I have forgiven Troy for the 2001 Tornado Game just now

That was 2002 when we beat Troy 11-8Didn't Darren Williams have 3 INTs in that game and we still lost?

To be fair at Auburn wasn’t easy (even though I always thought auburn was overrated). But that regional was a very good draw for them. They had an easy route to Omaha. Not surprising the got put out by Sun Belt.
Auburn has never advanced from a super regional they have hosted, the CWS appearances have been won away from homeTo be fair at Auburn wasn’t easy (even though I always thought auburn was overrated). But that regional was a very good draw for them.
Good 17ing riddanceAnd just like that, all the resident Bear fans that were so quick to show up here after punching their ticket, have totally vanished.

Sweeping Auburn is easy? They had an easy route to Omaha. Not surprising the got put out by Sun Belt.
When people say OM had an easy road, basically what they mean is we had to play Georgia and they didn’t. Anything is easy compared to playing UGA in Athens this year.
All bias aside, Auburn peaked at the SEC tournament. The wheels started coming off after that. They were lucky to win their regional. Was it easy? No. However, it was substantially easier than most Supers. 2 and out today proved it.Sweeping Auburn is easy?
Horrible draw, but we did it to ourselves. Don't forget, we led 7-0 on Saturday, and had a 2 run lead late Sunday. Zero bullpen. Get a bullpen, we're in Omaha next year. Hosting all the way. When people say OM had an easy road, basically what they mean is we had to play Georgia and they didn’t. Anything is easy compared to playing UGA in Athens this year.
0-4. That is all.Sweeping Auburn is easy?
We did against the eventual NCs.I wish we had had a chance to go 2 and q
They were the real #1 in that regional. Auburn on the road was legit. To be fair at Auburn wasn’t easy (even though I always thought auburn was overrated). But that regional was a very good draw for them.
Yep, very predictable. And just like that, all the resident Bear fans that were so quick to show up here after punching their ticket, have totally vanished.
that was a different game. Or did he do the hat trick in multiple games?Didn't Darren Williams have 3 INTs in that game and we still lost?
I think if UGA sweeps through and mops the floor with everyone, it might be warranted... no one else had to play those a-holes 6 times. Early in the season, I assumed that cheating 17'er Wes Johnson just had our number, but it might also be as simple as Georgia had a really really good team this year (cheating or not). With that out of the way, can we regrade our season?
Excellent take on our situations. Whether we like it or not Georgia is a juggernaut this year. Losing by 1 at their place twice shows how close we came this year. The first game especially after going up 7-0!I think if UGA sweeps through and mops the floor with everyone, it might be warranted... no one else had to play those a-holes 6 times. It will be forever frustrating to know one single win more in the regular season and we wouldn't have had to go to Athens in the SR. Then we would more than likely be in Omaha right now. Oh well...
It reminds me of our 2010 football season. I think we were 8-4, with all losses coming to top 10 SEC opponents. We live in a tough neighborhood.
Still here, enjoyed making to Omaha, and I'd rather be "lucky" than good any day.And just like that, all the resident Bear fans that were so quick to show up here after punching their ticket, have totally vanished.
Whether anyone wants to admit it luck does play into the results. It is why Ron Polk make the comment, "That’s baseball ".Still here, enjoyed making to Omaha, and I'd rather be "lucky" than good any day
Of course you would. That's how you ******** look at life. Hard work and decency isn't a factor.Still here, enjoyed making to Omaha, and I'd rather be "lucky" than good any day.
Absolutely. I hate "that's baseball" but it's true...nobody plays for a title without getting some good luck along the way.Whether anyone wants to admit it luck does play into the results. It is why Ron Polk make the comment, "That’s baseball ".
Odd to be here at all.Still here, enjoyed making to Omaha, and I'd rather be "lucky" than good any day.
It was Tulane where he had 3 picksthat was a different game. Or did he do the hat trick in multiple games?
