Apparently you are only counting financial impacts. Trump has made America worse in many more ways than just financially. What was stated by WDDT in post #202 was: Donald Trumps actions are impacting you less than 10% different than any other president whether their name be Steve, Sara, or Sven. You being a failure who is consistently falling further and further behind is your own doing.
You challenged that statement so I provided some statistics. Then you went on a long rant about your personal finances, your home value, grocery prices, race discrimination, sexual discrimination, and your kids at risk of dying from measles. You even went as far as to say my neighbors hate me.
My day to day life hasn’t changed any at all that I can think of, other than the new inflation.Apparently you are only counting financial impacts. Trump has made America worse in many more ways than just financially.
Dumber than the Afghanistan surge that cost taxpayers a quarter of a $trillionThis might be the DUMBEST handling of geopolitics in the last 40 years.
So you're saying that Trump wasting $500 billion of taxpayer money and jacking up all our gas prices is no big deal?Dumber than the Afghanistan surge that cost taxpayers a quarter of a $trillion
You're forgetting that Trump has turned our country into a dictatorship. He and his supporters are Nazis, racists, misogynists, pedophiles. Not to mention we've lost all of our rights. Nobody can find a job with unemployment at 4.3%. Some eve say that housing prices have taken a nosedive because of Trump. My day to day life hasn’t changed any at all that I can think of, other than the new inflation.
Yep, that's what I said. FWIW I think the number is closer to $800 trillion. So you're saying that Trump wasting $500 billion of taxpayer money and jacking up all our gas prices is no big deal?
Yes or no? Did Trump massively screw this up and screw over the rest of us? No pivoting to other presidents. No hyperbolic posts of $800 trillion numbers. Did Trump massively screw this up?Yep, that's what I said. FWIW I think the number is closer to $800 trillion.
What are you suggesting here? He has time for 7 jobs? He could be funding his kids 401ks as well?Yet has time to landscape, golf and post here constantly…
I've been very clear about my opinions on the war. Do you need me to repeat them for the 4th or 5th time? What are you suggesting here? He has time for 7 jobs? He could be funding his kids 401ks as well?
If one really thinks about it, he probably drinks beer whilst golfing, which is unnecessary calories, and likely the reason his non-white wife can only use his top 4 exposed abs as her washboard. Probably adds several minutes per week, but technically should be considered his 5th job.
Methinks you didn't consider the post directed to me in context of my reply to himIt sounds like you don't have much respect for people who work hard to make a living for their family.
Was I addressing you in any way? Do you have as many exposed abs as you do jobs? How about your wife? Is she non-white? How much do you have in your kids 529s? Do you have personal rowing goals you would like to share with the class?I've been very clear about my opinions on the war. Do you need me to repeat them for the 4th or 5th time?
Yeppers. That's definately you. Whining and being a drama queen. I take it that's your wife?
Even Obama doesn't agree with you. He literally called out your party, as did David Axelrod, for abandoning middle America. You're the party of elites, and libs on here show it every day. Folks here have said they're better than others.Republicans certainly have no respect for workers or frankly anyone else. Look at who they voted for.
What? You sent this to me in a dm saying it was from your recent performance? I'm so confused, why would you say this is you if it's not?Yeppers. That's definately you. Whining and being a drama queen. I take it that's your wife?
Thanks for identifying yourself as someone who doesn't care about others. My day to day life hasn’t changed any at all that I can think of, other than the new inflation.
Yes, that was bad. Yes, this is worse.Dumber than the Afghanistan surge that cost taxpayers a quarter of a $trillion
Hyperbole and mockery aren't proof.
You and I haven't suffered through an of this because Trump likes white supremacists. That's probably also the reason we've been spared from the measles.
Dude, you can say what you want, but you crossed the line. I have never DM'd anyone, especially you. You are beyond pathetic. What? You sent this to me in a dm saying it was from your recent performance? I'm so confused, why would you say this is you if it's not?
Yes. Most of the time you seem to be defending all things Trump. If there are any actual exceptions to that, you should absolutely make them clear early and often.I've been very clear about my opinions on the war. Do you need me to repeat them for the 4th or 5th time?
Lmao. Yes. Here we have, Mr. Empathy. No one cares, only you and your people. Dems destroyed our education system. They've been running it for decades. Thanks for identifying yourself as someone who doesn't care about others.
Or care about our media increasingly deluged with lies and acrimony.
Or care about the decline of public education, research, health....
Or care about increasing autocracy and degraded democracy in America and the world.
Or care about the massive increases in corruption.
Or care about the privatization of government services and public spaces.
I applaud your caring, I really do. We need more people who care about others....so, here's a question....what is hotshoe, myself or even yourself going to do about each of these bullets? I personally can't do anything about the lies of the media, the education in our schools (although i did run for and serve on q school board), the corruption and the rest...Thanks for identifying yourself as someone who doesn't care about others.

I thought it was weird too, so why did you send it? I thought your performance in drag was pretty goodDude, you can say what you want, but you crossed the line. I have never DM'd anyone, especially you. You are beyond pathetic.
At the least, we can try to be vocally on the right side of these issues.I applaud your caring, I really do. Putin's Russia and Saddam's Iraq had elections, too. Elections are important in a democracy, but the elections have to be honest. Rs clearly don't want honest elections. They can't win honest elections. Ds aren't enough better to crow about, but they are better. You and I are similar in our wants (personally) but see the world through entirely different lenses. I hear a lot about the demise of democracy, but we just had our normally scheduled primary elections, and we'll have the normal mid year elections come November (it appears) So I don't see democracy being degraded...trump says and does some dumb stuff, but when push come to shove, when directed by the courts, he follows the requirements.
Paying taxes and going to church are not evidence of caring.I don't think it's fair to claim that some on here don't care about others....i'd bet they pay their taxes on time, go to church and throw money on the plate, donate when a storm or hurricane causes damage, and maybe even give a homeless person a $5 bill. But, at the same time, they're asking everyone to pull their share of the load.

We know how to make elections better . . . but we don't.
I don't think that's an accurate assessment, if I believe what I read on here. It seems to me that what the righties are asking for is that only registered citizens be allowed to vote and that we are certain that the people who vote are who they say they are. It's unique that what you are saying about those on the right..they can't win honest elections, is exactly what those on the right say about the left.Putin's Russia and Saddam's Iraq had elections, too. So when did that change? Thanks for identifying yourself as someone who doesn't care about others.

You have a reading comprehension problemYes. Most of the time you seem to be defending all things Trump. If there are any actual exceptions to that, you should absolutely make them clear early and often.
Even in this comment your don't say you oppose Trump's wars. You only say you have opinions.
What is the right side of these issues? The media is terrible, education has been broken for along time.At the least, we can try to be vocally on the right side of these issues.
Too many here, even if not actively on the wrong side, participate in the mockery of those who are, and deflection from the problems we should be addressing.
WWJD thinks we don't spend enough money on things like education, healthcare, etc. He shows his compassion by saying we should take money from people who make more than him and give it to people who make less than him. What a guy!Lmao. Yes. Here we have, Mr. Empathy. No one cares, only you and your people. Dems destroyed our education system. They've been running it for decades.
So let's unpack...how do we define "those who need help"? If I believe some who post on here about life in general, they need help..should we be giving them services? Education, can we really throw more money at that. If we look at results vs money spent, there's no correlation between more money and better results, programs to prevent and cure diseases, who can argue about that. Do we think it's asking too much for the person(s) in need to expend energy to help themselves?Paying taxes and going to church are not evidence of caring.
Donations during emergencies and the occasional handout are, but are hardly enough.
Most of the big issues we discuss cannot be solved through sporadic (or even regular) individual contributions. They require setting goals and working as a society to achieve those goals.
Those who reliably argue to cut spending on programs that help those who need help, programs to protect the environment, programs to educate our children, programs to prevent and cure diseases . . . those people do not care for others in any believable sense.
You're just a blatant liar. Show the message.I thought it was weird too, so why did you send it? I thought your performance in drag was pretty good
Why hasn't Ukraine had an election? We had an election in 1864 in the middle of the Civil War.Putin's Russia and Saddam's Iraq had elections, too. So let's go with this. Over the last 30 years the population has grown 26% while the number of doctors has grown 79%. Yet people are clamoring that we need to invest in more doctors by increasing subsidies for their residencies. How does this make sense? Or let's discuss education. The U.S. spends more per student than any other OECD county except Luxembourg and Norway. We spend roughly 50% more than the average OECD country. In spite of these things life expectancies are down and educational outcomes have become progressively worse. So why do so many in a country that already spends 40% more than we collect always insist that we need to spend more money?Paying taxes and going to church are not evidence of caring.
