That’s got nothing to do with it. The NBA in the 80’s and 90’s was the penultimate product to watch. The garbage out there today makes it easy to not watch. You have a nice day.
You're just making things up, the 80's 90's NBA was never "the penultimate product to watch".

Those complaining about the NBA product are mistaken. The NBA product is far superior to college basketball. College basketball is the equivalent of minor league baseball at this point. The NBA is a man’s game. During the regular season sometimes the defense lacks a little but the playoffs are what basketball should be. The best players in world competing for a trophy! 🏆

Question is how many of them are actually paying for those choice seats. Probably not very many.
Tickets are given to celebrities for free but there are certain expectations. Read below:

The theory is that celebrities are part of the entertainment. Fans get a kick out of seeing them. Their presence makes Madison Square Garden feel more exclusive, and it adds some excitement to the background. That's why the tickets are free, but the expectation is apparently that you're paying attention and into the game, that you'll appear on camera and that, in some cases, you're willing to film quick little shoutouts or segments to play on the jumbotron.

Spike Lee doesn't buy into this so he purchases his own tickets. These tickets, during the playoffs, are running several hundreds of thousands of dollars for front row seats.

Must be nice to be so rich!

I want all Cats to do well, but between the the celebrity’s, hot dogs and crybabies I don’t watch the NBA anymore and haven’t for 30 years. Despite growing up watching and loving it. There is to much greed and no discipline and the bad thing about it is the college game is getting to be just like it.
I feel the same way. I used to love the NBA back in the 70’s and 80’s. In my opinion, those guys played as teams and focused way more on winning than some of the players today. Just my feelin after watching them then and now.

In year’s past, I attended quite a few NFL road game sitting in the visitors’ section and at almost every game there was a home fan who was often drunk who watched a big chunk of the game with his back to the field looking up at our section and just yelling idiotic comments at the visiting fans. That dude was in Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta, Nashville, etc. Crazy how some fans perceive their fandom.

A&M fans were the most inviting friendly of those I have seen on the road. They said Clemson fans were that way to them. Of course they expected us to take the L and I don’t know how they would have been had we pulled off the upset. When I had season tickets I hated seeing our fans yell crap at visiting fans. I remember once this old couple from MSU walking back to their car. They told me they went to almost every road game. Damn! Love that kind of fan. And, we had drunk idiots taunting them. They were in their early 80s. I walked them to their car and apologized for the truly brain dead perspective they had to endure.

I saw Cal with that dumb open mouth look he gives during games. I suspect he could not cheer when he was rooting for his players on each team. So, the fake open mouth shock look. lol

Yeah, nothing noteworthy or shocking happened that game. It was definitely fake. The Cal haters will make themselves look like complete morons just to hate.

The fraud who hasn’t watched the NBA in 30 years is telling us how the garbage out there today is not easy to watch. Everything about these frauds is fake virtue signaling BS. That’s why it’s so important for so many of them to say they don’t watch the NBA.

Now excuse me while I go jump into the wrestling thread and tell them how I don’t watch wrestling.

Why doesn’t pope go to these games and bring some of these elite guys with him. Develop relationships with these guys work towards recruiting these guy to help with recruiting. An IG post with pope and Shai or Kat especially those two would be very helpful. And keeping up with these guys on a regular basis. Pope needs to connect with more than the 1996 team

I far prefer the college game in both basketball and football to the NBA and NFL. The NBA bores me until the last 4-5 minutes of the game.

I did not know Cal’s daughter posted here!! Nice!

I love how the Cal sycophants think any comment that does not kiss his butt is made by a hater. ROFL!! Seriously funny stuff.
