***CC22 and the Fever mega thread***

Just read an article, last night, the plan wasn't to pass it to CC. Sophie did anyway.
Not saying that Sophie is lying, but like with many things surrounding the Fever, this is another tidbit that's being blown oit of proportion.

That and the whole Kelsey Mitchell not celebrating with the team congratulating Caitlin right after the game.

It's the same energy as all the anti-CC/anti-"CC fans" people online attacking Caitlin because she didn't initially return her teammate's high five gesture while she was pouting on the sideline because of the situation she/they were in late in the Liberty game.

This probably doesn't matter to you, but I gotta put you on ignore for engaging trolls. Scrolling through all your replies when trying to read through a thread is annoying.
Well we wouldn't want to inconvenience you now would we. 🙂

You're someone who sticks to their convictions when it comes to problem solving by putting yourself first. I admire that...............

Aww shucks, eyes......87-81. Oh well.

But ya know what they say......................it's only money. 😉
Yeah, you know what they say...........it's only reading comprehension/the decency to not mischaracterize others.

Because intentionally/unintentionally, and by way of an awful feature on the site, you managed to leave out the part where I won heavily on the money line.

Also won on GS-3.5 in-game, just to keep your boner hard.

You really are beyond annoying

You keep saying that word......you know you've been mischaracterizing Iowa fans for years now. Nobody cares that you feel you've been mischaracterized, and saying it in every post isn't going to change that.

Lol.........

The -350 ML. I'm sure you raked in the cash on that one. Probably got enough off those winnings alone to buy Iowa another elite WR.

Don't mischaracterize me and the word won't get used.

-305. Read better.

I didn't know Iowa already had an elite WR. I like RVZ. And early returns on Diaz seem good. But elite?

And WR is the last place I'd be putting any money

Don't mischaracterize the fanbase first, and you won't get properly characterized.

Nah, I trusted that I could goad you into correcting me on the number you actually bet pregame (on whichever site you used), because I honestly didn't care enough to go back a page or two and look it up. Thank you for your cooperation.........My point about your profits also stands. 😉

I never said they did. Just because I said "another" doesn't mean I meant on this current team.....don't mischaracterize me. Read better.

(See how that works? 😉)
And WR is the last place I'd be putting any money (We know.........but,)
In all fairness, I don't actually care. That wasn't the point. 🙂

You amuse yourself far too easily.

Let me know when you actually have something somewhat significant to argue about

You make these kind of responses often to try to end conversations. Here's basically what you just wrote:

You- "Don't mischaracterize me. I'm bothered by this."

Me: "I didn't mischaracterize you."

You- "Let me know when you actually have something to argue about that's worth my time."

Yes, you attached my post that you had altered to show my losing bet but not the winning bets.

That is a misrepresentation.

Get a life

You know the people here are unhinged when you say the most decorated player in WNBA history is the GOAT and you only get laugh emoji.
At some point you must realize that GOAT has become a cliche and some people throw it around just to get other folk's.... goat.
Didn't Hayden Fry say if you don't want folks to get your goat, don't show em where you keep it?

Another, sensitive to emojis.

Taurasi was great. No doubt.

But I just don't think it's anywhere near clear cut in the women's game.

And I hate how the term gets thrown around for anything other than clear cut.

Even if I happened to barely consider someone as the greatest women's basketball player of all-time (I don't), there's no way I'd be comfortable referring to that player as the GOAT
Do you ever pull your panties out of your azz?

It was a great play as drawn up. I don't think SW drew it up or called it. Washington blew it up by a combination of covering KM and stupidly losing CC (AB was going to screen down on CC's defender, force a switch, and roll to the basket covered by a guard - but there was no one to set a pick on). Sophie and Caitlin were brilliant in saving that play.

You realize she scored 17 points, had 17 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 assist tonight right?
Being blue collared doesn't make her "skilled". I'm talking about basic SKILLS that are attributed to basketball. Ball handling, shooting etc.. At which of these is she "skilled"? I never said she had no value IF she stays in her lane. Maybe she's doing more of that with the Dream, and that's helping them to win. That doesn't change what I said about her lack of basketball "skills".

I think it's either her vision or coordination too. She can stand vertically and jump to grab rebounds, but like you said, it could be the eye-hand thing. She's not graced with athletic mobility and shot creation on a consistent level. Six of her 17 points came from the foul line and she was charged with 6 turnovers. However, she shot not too-too bad at 5-12 and had 4 assists. She had the highest +/- on her team at +18. So, I'd say for her, she had a good game in fairness.
Once again I never said she hasn't had some good games. I said she's not skilled. She's not......

Brother, she has 34 points and 35 rebounds in the last 2 games. I am not having an argument of whether YOU think she is skilled.

It's clear you have an anti-Angel bias. That's fine, but spare me on the "skilled" BS.

White said coach Austin Kelley is the one that sets up their inbounds plays and it was his design.

And I'm not having an argument with you that you've become a Reese backside sniffer or for some reason praising anything anti Clark for some reason. She gets things done under the basket, but she's not "skilled" that's obvious to ANYONE who watches her miss shot after shot right under the basket, even if she's standing by herself. Rebounding is mostly about "want to" and she has that, because that's the only thing she has that gets her a paycheck. It sure isn't her skill as a basketball player. I think much of her career in the W she has been the least efficient player in the entire league, and that's with her basically standing within 4 ft of the basket

White see's Mitchel as her #1 choice. Washington realizes this and that's why KM was covered so heavy leaving Clark to break open.
Go back and watch any game and you see the ball passed until it reaches Mitchel's hands. After that she either drives the lane only to throw up a prayer, dribble it off her foot out of bounds or turns it over. Mitchel IS Whites go to player. Why I can't understand.
